Primitive camping @ blackland ranch
My partner and I absolutely enjoyed our primitive tent camping experience at Blackland Ranch! We were greeted upon arrival by our host Lanita and Lola & Louis ((trusty four legged friend)), she walked us to our site and provided such valuable information about the land along the way. The primitive campsite was such a beautiful site no matter the time of day! Rising to a view of tall bardock and cedar trees all around, hearing the soothing sound of nature’s choir of small animals/ insects near and far was such a treat to my inner spirit. Not to mention the different intentional zones of the land (North, South, East, West) connecting us with the elements. At night the sky was like nothing I’d ever seen before.
For activities we journeyed the hand crafted Labyrinth on the property for a fun and creative meditation walk in nature.
We’re so grateful to have experienced such a purely authentic wholistic retreat. Blackland Ranch provides the space for experiences that have to be experienced and not read about.

Good night camping
Lanita was super responsive and was a great host. She greeted me on arrival and gave me the layout of the site, had hammocks set up and plenty of firewood available. I only stayed one night while passing through the area, but there were no issues whatsoever. The only con is that it's a little muddy, but it had just stormed and would have been muddy no matter what.
