Lake Livingston is a large 23+ mile lake. We bought the property in 2014 and did upgrades on weekends, love the views, fishing, campfires, and meeting people so we opened the first cabin in April of 2018, now have 5 cabins and 9 rv sites and welcome you to enjoy the lake as much as we do. Every season of the year is a little different and all are wonderful! We are in nature, and across street from wetlands, yet only 2 miles from city grocery store and restaurants! There are 3 piers, fishing, picnicking, beautiful sunsets, nature watching, small watercraft rentals, guide paid pontoon tours, swimming, bonfires, bbq’s with firewood available on site for purchase if desired. Use for short term rental retreats, or long term.

RV #9 is our own long 36' rv rental that sleeps 2, has water views, its own deck with deck lite, picnic table, is short distance to 3 piers, has high 70+mbps speed WiFi, 50 amp service, 2 ACs, septic connection, city water, etc. Then since site 8 had to be moved for different road route, we normally do notvrent out site 8 unless you are with a group that wants to be close. As such you normally have a lot extra parking unless you choose to have your friends in site 8 which you would have to check and clarify with us because otherwise we have site 8 blocked and unable to be reserved.

This is a nice 30’ RV with large slide out, set up for 1 to 2 people (a couple), has light wood accents, smart TV, hi-speed wifi, nice big shady deck/porch, and 275' Walk to the waterfront of the 22 mile long Lake Livingston. It is in rv space #2 in outlet plat plan picture that is enclosed. We are in nature, and across street from wetlands, yet only 2 miles from city grocery store and restaurants! There are 3 piers, fishing, picnic’ing, beautiful sunsets, nature watching, small watercraft rentals, guide paid pontoon tours, swimming, bonfires, bbq’s with firewood available on site for purchase if desired. Use for short term rental retreats, or long term. Long term rental requires application submittal, paid $25 background/police/fiscal responsibility check and related approval. Security deposit required.

Site 8 is close to site 9 so is only rented if people in both sites know each other and want to be close/diagonal to one another. It's quite nice that way if that is what you desire, otherwise we don't rent site 8 as it was moved when we changed the road direction. It is still full hook up, has high speed WiFi

Me and my family had a great time at the property, we rented out the boats very user friendly didn’t catch any big fish in the lake but we didn’t go far either. AC was working very well the owner was very helpful and very approachable. Had an awesome time!

Great find for the price. Cozy & convenient. Parking is tight, however sufficient. Needs some updating but we had everything we needed and the hosts were very friendly and gracious. Description is a bit misleading, as it is not luxury nor waterfront.

Great RVs and Cabins on the Lake!

We had a great weekend at Rick and Bernadette's place. Their small marina with canoes/kayaks was excellent even though we were only able to go out for a short while because of the cold and wind. The RV was in excellent condition, and it has been modified to be very spacious inside. Everything we needed was provided inside. Bernadette checked on us several times during our stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway experience. I'm looking forward to returning and bringing the rest of the family now that I know what a great place B&R have on the lake!

We loved staying in this cabin. It was a nice cozy get away from the city 🌆 The cabin was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities but still let us enjoy the camping experience. Right in front of the lake and very calm environment.

The space had adequate (more than enough space) for our RV (30 ft with 1 slide-out) with a nice deck, picnic table, lighting, grill, and a great lake view. The owners, Rick and Bernadette, were awesome...friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Staying at cabin #4 for the weekend was an overall great experience and I am really glad my friends and I could spend time here. Here is my honest review: Pros - Cabin #4 was awesome, slept 7 with no issue and was very nice and the air conditioning was exceptional which was needed on this hot summer trip the shower and bathroom were great and was stocked up on basic toiletries I loved the Jon boat and kayak rentals, it gave all of my guests opportunities to get out on the water Cons - I wish this place was located on any other lake, I know it’s not controllable, but this lake was about 4 ft deep even 400 yards off shore. Just to launch our Jon boat we had to walk it about 150 yards in knee high mud to be able to float off. overall the lake was nothing like I’ve ever seen It would be nice if cleaning supplies were provided, there was no broom or mop in the cabin as well as no basic surface cleaners and sanitizers. I was trying to clean before checkout to reduce efforts in cleaning up after ourselves, but nothing was provided Sharing a single trash bin with another cabin was a nightmare. Our first night we filled the trash full and had to stack on the side. No dumpster nearby It wouldn’t hurt to power wash the Jon boat and kayaks sometimes, we got in our boat to looses hooks and bait stains in the boat crawling with spiders Overall a fantastic weekend nonetheless and the hosts are very responsive. I just wish this was located on any other lake

I would not stay here if you have a larger rig. There is a tree on side of the drive and a cabin on the other. My rig is a 43’ fifth sheen and king bed truck. Getting in was easier because there is room for swing but getting out there is none and the last 12” or so of my camper collided with the extended metal roofing of the cabin opposite of the tree. One of them was going to do damage no matter what. My insurance is in the middle of handling everything which I have sent to the owner and he still reaches out to hipcamp to complain I’m not paying him? Also, the spot we stayed in was next their residence and the sprinklers go off any time they do laundry etc and it smells like nasty sewage/sulphur multiple times a day making for a very unpleasant stay as well as keeping the ground soaked all day. They came on while cooking s’mores and soaked the fire!

Perfectly Relaxing Weekend!

The view was beautiful - evening sunsets on the lake and morning sunrises over the pine trees. Our RV spot (#9) was basically lake front, shaded with lovely pine trees, had full hook-ups, and a very nice large deck for gathering. We were a short walk from several of their docks with comfortable seating and wooden swings. We had a perfectly relaxing weekend hanging with our best friends (in the spot right next to us) watching the squirrels, variety of birds and water fowl forge and fish. The owners, Rick and Bernadette, were great hosts. You can tell that they are continually making improvements on the property. We will definitely be back soon!

The camp site was exactly as advertised. It’s a small camp ground with 9 RV slots and several really nice cabins. Our camp site was very nice. Sadly, absolutely no fault of the camp, the lake water levels are quite low which really restricted our ability to use the water features. The only negative I would mention is, like a lot of camp grounds, is right on the highway, which means there was quite a bit of road noise. Aside from that the campground was very comfortable.

Great hospitality, great location. Site was almost too unlevel and sewer was uphill, so had to move to another site to dump tanks. Also, trailer brushed up against some trees upon entering and exiting.

Rick and Bernadette very welcoming and helpful. Description of “wilderness” misleading as cabins are right off a main road, and swimming not an option as alligators live nearby. Had a good time taking out the troll boat and kayaking and having a campfire by the lake in the evening. Cabin older but clean although communal/bbq/picnic areas need a bit of a spring clean. Overall pretty rustic and shame about the road.
