Beautiful & quiet family farm. These hosts were so lovely. Our RV battery went out and they offered us electric and also water! The place is huge and would be so amazing for camping, if you aren’t in a RV you can be completely private (we just needed level ground). I think you could even pitch a tent on the deck by the pond! We went on a walk down the lane and passed some adorable beagles. Would recommend this to anyone!
My family and I had such a great time camping at Anna and Tom’s farm! The location was peaceful and beautiful but also super convenient with kids (no need to hike in, space available to pitch a tent right next to a fire pit). Our hosts were very friendly as well and our daughter had a great time playing with their kiddos! We’d love to camp there again soon.
Private camping not far from home
Really loved the visit to Anna's. My granddaughter and i were directed by Tom to a site next to a place to set up a campfire. Anna even donated Doritos delivered by her cute son when i had a mess mixup...LOL and offered a cup of tea since the weather was cool and windy. My little even got to use the beautiful deck for her painting. And to top if off i had not noted until late in say 1 that my car lights were on. Needless to say when i went to start car...NO GO. Thanks to Tom, he stopped what he was doing and willing came to give me a jump. All in all a wonderful experience.
The Site was spacious and open. Plenty of areas for shade and privacy. So much wildlife to experience and stars that fill the night sky. This place would be great for large camping parties!
Anna’s responsiveness was impeccable and the site was just as advertised. Given the time of year and proximity to water it would have been nice if grass was mowed a bit shorter to avoid snakes. It was hard to see the snakes we stepped in in ankle high grass. Other campers on the property were incredibly noisy our first night but we had the place to ourselves the second night and really enjoyed the coyotes and the quiet. The site was about a 40 minute drive to Brazos Bend State Park, so it was close enough for an early start and to crash when we finished our hike.
