Places to see near Angela L.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We took our Jeep on the Hill County over landing route and stayed one night on Angela’s place. Fabulous host! Really cool glamping tents with electric or space for your own tent. Close to Fredericksburg, Lukenbach, Enchanted Rock, etc. Quiet and peaceful with water available and clean outhouse port a potty. Host was super friendly and accommodating in every way.
Great getaway for us! Would recommend!
Angela’s land was a great spot close Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. It was a quiet spot with private campsites. Angela was out of town but Sue made sure we had everything we needed (fire pit, fan, etc.) The outhouse was also very clean and the potable water was a great addition. I would definitely stay here again.
Quiet stop just outside of town
Angela was very easy to work with. She gave us directions before we arrived and check in was a breeze. We were happy to find a site with electricity so close to downtown but still removed from it. The site itself did not require any leveling blocks which is always a treat. Quiet and clean.
Angela's property was fantastic. Our camping area was hidden behind the trees on raised land surrounded by a dry river bed. Even though it is not too far from the glamping and RV areas, the trees ensure you are secluded. It was only a 15 minute drive into Fredericksburg, so for anybody looking for the best of both worlds, I highly recommend using Angela's property.
Great location, super close to downtown Fredericksburg. We got a little nervous on the dirt road drive if it had rained. Angela was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed!
Fun and quiet!
We had a great time camping here! Angela was an awesome host and created a lovely set up for us. Quiet, peaceful, and lots of cute ranch animals in the area! Strongly recommend a semi off road capable vehicle or a vehicle with decent ground clearance. Great spot if you are hoping to explore Fredericksburg but be out in nature :)
This little hidden gem was secluded and the night sky was a great view. The road to get there was a little rough but once u get to the camp, the host was there to greet us. Angela was very welcoming and would check up on us to see if we needed anything else. They provided firewood and freshwater. The electric hookup was a welcoming surprise. It was 50 amp so make sure you have an adapter if ur rv only has 30. Overall, i will definitely be back.
Great hosts, great natural beauty
Angela and her sister, Sue were so personable and helpful! Beautiful area-especially in the spring with the wildflowers Also, the number and variety of birds singing out there in the morning is almost like a natural symphony for a city boy like me! Make sure you follow directions getting out there, cause its kind of remote.:) Might be a good idea to download the Google maps onto your phone because you might lose cell service-we did, and we got a little turned around-and I know the area pretty well.
