Great weekend trip from Dallas
The campgrounds at 4Rwere idyllic — overlooking a beautiful pasture, the grounds were well maintained with the perfect amount of shade. Some people mentioned proximity to other campsites in the reviews but there was more than enough breathing room between each site. A huge plus for us was the winery down the road — one night we cooked our own meal and then the other we got to enjoy the views and delicious wine/charcuterie. We brought our young kids and everything about the setup was easy to navigate with them.

4R VIP Top-O'-the-Ridge Campsite
The workers at 4R ranch were the nicest people we have met. When we got up in the morning from camping they let use their restrooms and coffee. The campsite were extremely clean and quiet and we even saw an armadillo. They had great recommendations for hiking, food and wine

I loved tent camping here. It was peaceful and quiet and beautiful scenery. The camping information on their website is very helpful. I was able to pick the perfect site for what we wanted. The winery was also great. We will be back!
