Campers should know that Sites #10 and 11 are very close to the shower shed, the toilet shed, electrical outlets and (nonpotable) water spigots. Firewood is free, and can be found in two locations: (1) under a shed roof attached to the toilet shed; and (2) in a large cage located in the large area designated as campsites 2, 3, and 4. Our mountain biking and hiking trail is now open. We are working on the map.

We loved camping at 4-R. The sites are well spread out, so you have plenty of privacy. We enjoyed our wine tasting and were able to bring a bottle back to our site to enjoy! The hot shower was awesome the next morning and more private then I was expecting. I recommend bringing your own potty liter bucket, so you don't have to hike up to the outhouse.
I stayed in spot 10 and camped in an electric vehicle. The description said this spot would have power, however the plug was too far away to access with a car. I didn’t realize there was an RV spot with a plug, if I come back I will be reserving that one!
It’s so nice to camp and have something else besides… just camping lol. I loved that there is a restaurant/wine tasting room on the property and had so much fun there eating outdoors with my husband and dog :)
We loved our two night stay at campsite #6. There was a great wooded area to hang 2 hammocks and nice open space for vehicles and tents. We enjoyed all the birds in the morning while we drank our coffee.
We visited the Tasting Room for dinner one night and the staff were very friendly. The Cabernet Savignon was my favorite!
The mountain bike trail was great, too. I took off from our campsite where the trail meander through the meadow up toward the tasting room. I road 5 miles of the trail before deciding to catch a county road back to camp for lunch with my friends. There was nice single track and when the trail was rocky, closer to the windmills, it was still very rideable. Some great views over the vineyard.
My only concern was how close campsite 5 was to our site when neighbors showed up the 2nd night; however, if you have a large crowd and need two sites this would be a good place.
We will definitely visit again!
Oh, highly recommended taking a 7 gallon water jug and your own bucket toilet so you do not have to travel far in the middle of the night.
