Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer. https://trimountainview.com/ trimountainview.com

Site 3 The Yurt
Absolutely Amazing!
Everything about this place is perfect!!! Driving in you get beautiful views of the mountain and land. When you pull onto the site the view is breathtaking. We were greeted shortly after arriving and were given a walk through and told a little about the land. We were the first to use the new Yurt and it was quite cozy! It was roomier than we thought and we were able to fit two adults a play pen and a dog bed! The bed is brand new and super comfy. There’s a fan and heater along with a light. The site has electricity which we used for our electric grill( we left the grill for future users !) it did rain a lot while we were there but the yurt withstood some pretty strong winds and no water leaked through! When it stopped raining we strolled through the perfectly lined trees and took in the amazing view! Our dog was able to be off leash and run around with our daughter. There’s a really cute town about 30 mins away if you’re wanting to do some exploring. All in all this is the perfect getaway for yourself or with the family! The guy Tim that takes care of the land is super friendly and what they’re doing here is absolutely amazing! 10/10 recommend !

Safe and Beautiful!
The views on the top of the mountain were exceptional. It's Nov and got down to freezing. No prob. The shower was hot in a heated bathroom. Amazing!! Oaks and Black Walnuts are planted in rows on the property. I was left alone (single lady traveling alone) and it was quiet. Neighbor campers were respectful. I made my coffee via a 20+ years old whisperlite stove and drank my hot cup while overlooking this wondrous valley. Thanks for a beautiful view and a safe place to sleep!
