We searched for 3 years to find the perfect piece of land. We found it in our 45 acre wooded piece of heaven. There is a 5 acre pasture, a half acre pond, a creek, and the rest is a beautiful mix of hardwood and pine. We are working on building a small cabin next to the pasture, and have cut trails through most of the property. We have one developed campsite, and plan to create more. Learn more about this land: We have a Tentsile 3 person tent, and there is a large Tentsile hammock. *[There is an age limit for anyone camping in the Tentsile tent. We ask that no one under the age of 8 climbs up into the tent.] There is also a 6 person tent, on the ground, if being in the trees is not your thing. There is a short 0.4 mile walk to the campsite that takes about 7 minutes to walk. We will bring all your stuff up for you. The camp site is on hill over looking the creek. It is located on one of the back corners of our 45 acre wooded property. We have made trails throughout, so there is plenty to explore. We are just a short 15 minute drive from Parksville Lake, and white water rafting on the Occoee. This campsite is a 10 minute walk from the main house, and you will have total privacy.  There is also a pond and fishing boat, hammocks and swing by the creek, chickens, peacocks and flower gardens on the property.

Primitive camp site
This was the most beautiful property and the perfect spot to tent camp for the night. Peaceful site at the top of the ridge, water sources close by if you don’t mind filtering, and not a long walk. I was unable to walk the trails but look forward to exploring them next time I stay. Jeremiah and his family were super friendly and very communicative.

Hillside Hammock Haven
Hillside Hammock Haven was great! Jeremiah and his wife were so amazing and accommodating, they even transported our gear up for us. We loved the trails and the tensile tent, it felt very open and breezy. Make sure you check out the synchronous fireflies and blue ghost fireflies if you go at the right time. This place really is a must see, would def recommend it

Hillside Hammock Haven
If you're looking for a private getaway to make beautiful memories, this is the place! Owner drives your stuff up to the campsite while you walk the beautiful walk there, The largest hammock we have ever saw, sleeping lifted off of the ground is a diffrent experience for sure! We came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect in every way, you can tell how much love the owners have put into this place in every acre they have. HIGHLY recommend

Primitive camp site
Lovely, perfect camping experience
Important note: We stayed in the developed site, NOT the primitive site. The primitive site is currently a space in the woods cleared for a tent; that's it. It provides a nice view. I don't know if you can use the compost toilet or not. ... Here is my review for the developed site: It was awesome! Best Hipcamp experience I've had so far. It's a nice quick little hike to the site up in the woods, and immediately you'll notice a tent covering a compost toilet, a picnic table, a fire ring, a HUGE hammock (unlike any I have ever seen before), and a tree-tent. Jeremiah and Tami will tell you everything you need to know about the site and the land; they know their land like the back of their hands and are truly excited to share it with others. They have fun nicknames for a bunch of spots in the woods and along the creek. I have an 8 year old daughter and she was so excited when she met their child and said, "It even comes with a friend!" Jeremiah and Tami are responsive, considerate, and generous. We loved sleeping in the tree tent-- so comfortable! And the kids loved playing around on the hammock (although it is NOT a trampoline ;) ). Finally, we headed off one day to drive to a hike and turned around 5 minutes into the drive--- I realized there was nothing that we needed to do that was not available at our campsite; amazing! Not only do I highly recommend camping here, we are definitely coming back, and hopefully soon!

Hillside Hammock Haven
Our stay was great and we loved Jeremiah and Tami’s property! The property is listed as a walk-in site but was definitely the easiest “walk-in” yet. We didn’t have to worry about carrying any bags to our site; Jeremiah drove them up for us and we followed behind for the short quarter mile walk, accompanied by Tami, who gave us the lay of the land. All the “walk-in” sites I’ve been to before have required that I carry EVEYRYTHING from car to site, so this was a very welcome difference. The hammock was comfortable and fun to sleep in, even on a colder evening. We brought some warm blankets and Jeremiah provided us with sleeping mats so that we’d be 100% comfortable. The camp itself was great, from the fire pit (built-in grill/griddle for easy cooking) to the lazy creek at the bottom of the hill that houses the site. Probably the best part, for us, were the animals. At the host’s home, not at the site, you can see chiccens, as well as a peacock, running around. Their two dogs, Buttercup and Ginger, were so sweet. We chose to hang out with them for most of our stay. They hiked with us, played in the creek while we took in nature, and were great temporary companions for our stay. 5-star stay! We’re already excited to return!
