Stuetz Mountain Retreat is a hidden gem. It’s a quiet site with all the amenities you could need (the bathroom proximity was super nice). My dogs and I enjoyed our morning walks to check on the goats. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The host was very personable and accommodating to our two ankle biters. Would definitely recommend to others!

Quiet, private, and clean. A good value for the money. The campsite was level and sheltered, and the firewood was great.

Great little camping spot. Very private and it has a private shower and toilet 🚻 🙃. The car port structure offered extra protection from some of the weather elements.
Great views and great hospitality.
We really loved and enjoyed Piper the little host dog. She is so very friendly.
Would recommend to all.

Great stay! Warm outhouse! A bit difficult to find. It’s right around the corner/switchback once you see the breakfast area. Would recommend!

They were very communicative before and during our stay. They came by to make sure we had everything and even had a beautiful home made decoration on the table for our arrival. We stayed during a very cold period where water ended up freezing—so we had no running water for the toilet or shower. But we had a great stay! The property is amazing. It was fun to explore the animals on the land and hang out with the little dog who greeted us upon arrival. He walked around the entire property with us. We definitely want to return and spend more time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was a great place to stay the night in our camper van! We arrived after dark and it was still easy to find. Having the overhead shelter and toilet right next to us was also very convenient. We were greeted by a sweet tour guide (aka little dog, Piper) in the morning who eagerly led the way for us along the hiking trails. Lovely scenery and views throughout the site. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived late but we had everything we needed. The signs to the campsite were helpful. We were delightfully surprised with the amenities and their setup. The area was unique and beautiful. The price was reasonable. I would absolutely stay there again.
