Come escape to nature in our handcrafted tiny house nestled in the Smoky Mountains. The tiny house sits on a 140-acre idyllic farm next to a classic red barn. Sit on the porch and take in the mountain views, or build an outdoor fire at the community fire pit. We are right down the road from Foxfire Mountain, 15 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Cosby entrance, and about 25-30 minutes from the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

The tiny house is a glamping getaway. It has electricity, a small portable electric heater, a heated blanket, an AC window unit, and a fan. There is no central heat or air, so make sure to pack layers to get cozy in the winter months.

The kitchenette features a small refrigerator/freezer, a coffee pot, and Brita water filter. There is also a propane fireplace to enjoy s'mores or hotdogs at night. Note there is no plumbing or bathroom in the tiny house. There is an outdoor shower with a heater that heats up quickly to rinse off under the stars after a long day of exploring. There is a very clean portable toilet with a lever flush and foot pump hand wash sink.

To rest your head, the upstairs loft has a comfy full size Tuft and Needle mattress. The downstairs has a couch that can be converted into a futon. We can provide extra linens and blankets for the futon, just let us know.

Other things to note

There are two camping domes and a barn apartment on the property. Park in the gravel driveway right near the barn. The shower and portable toilet are shared if there are guests in the camping domes. You might see two friendly dogs on the property, Cindy and Parley.

Our stay at Sam's property gave us a much needed escape into the smokys. The tiny house had all the amenities to keep us warm and comfortable even through 30° nights.

A great spot with good access to surrounding national parks and attractions, would highly recommend.

It was the absolute perfect choice. A beautiful, authentic escape from the obvious and obnoxious tourism trap that is downtown gatlinburg. 10/10

What an amazing place! The tiny home is perfect in so many little ways! The bed was super comfy. The place was surprisingly spacious. The kitchen is bare bones. Only a fridge and coffee maker. But we brought our camping stove and cooked outside. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. It's a great place and easy to get to, too.
