Providence Landing is a private grass strip and farm. It’s mostly forest with a couple pastures and a 1500ft grass strip nestled in a valley between a year-round creek and a couple of forest-covered knobs. Most RVs can find a suitable place to setup but in the winter, options will but limited due to wet, hilly grounds. Pilots with pre-approval may fly in to camp.

I camped back on the airstrip field. It was very private and peaceful. Lots of space for my dog to run around. The hosts were very helpful. They provided a fire ring for me and checked in several times to make sure everything was alright. They are nice people and I would definitely recommend staying here.
Great for passing through
We stayed for a couple of nights in our 31’ camper, while passing through. Lillian greeted us when we arrived and was accommodating and friendly. We parked by the driveway, next to the barn, so there was a bit of noise from all of the cars that passed, but other than that, it was quiet through the night. There are no hookups, but they allowed us to use our generator. Great place to stay when passing through.
Beautiful piece of property. Super helpful in getting to the site, we booked last minute and got out right away to mow tons of space so we had options for the night. Beautiful country living, wish we had had more time to explore the hiking options on the site!
Awesome camping spot!
Awesome camping spot that was secluded but only ten minutes to town. James and his wife were very hospitable and friendly. They brought us fresh eggs from their chickens and two fire rings. We will definitely be back soon.
This place is for sure a hidden GEM!!! James and his family were wonderful.. between him helping us find a spot to set up camp, making us feel welcomed an wishing to show us around, getting us dry firewood for the night, even his wife brought us farm fresh eggs for our breakfast in the morning. We can’t say enough about this camp site! We adventured down by the landing strip. As well as the trails James is making with his excavator. He has a load of sites you can be set up at. We chose where we were only supposed to be for one night which was by the antique barn and tractor that nature took back! With a full moon over our camp fire we couldn’t have asked for more. (Even though on our second night the fireflies made for quite a setting listening to the bumbling creek and just having peace)
When traveling we will for sure have to stop back by and stay here again. Thank you sincerely to James and his family!! Two thumbs up and as many stars as I can add!
