You’ll cross the covered bridge (clearance 11’6” ) as you enter our farm, a 73 acre small family farm, nestled in the Buffalo Valley of Northeast TN, and featuring a down home country atmosphere. What makes our farm special are all of the unique extras: a working log cabin blacksmith shop, log cabin art gallery, certified commercial kitchen, lots of watchable wildlife, and walking trails. We have a one acre wildlife pond and a smaller pond fed by springs and Buffalo Creek, which runs through the farm. Our small buffalo herd is pastured not far from the campsites and our friendly peacocks and chickens roam the grounds. We also offer classes in blacksmithing, art, foraging and cooking periodically. We are rural but not remote and are minutes away from state parks, fishing, hiking, rafting and other recreational activities as well as downtown Johnson City and Historic Jonesborough with breweries, shops, and many restaurants. As purveyors of Appalachian culture and cuisine, we invite you to stay a day , or longer, to share our friendly and relaxing small farm atmosphere in the mountains.

How do I love Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens?
Let me count the ways…
Beautiful, scenic beauty. Wonderful hosts who want you to enjoy your stay. Baked goods from Pats kitchen! Feeding buffalo with Johnny and pounding iron with Robin.
Firewood. Water. Wifi…all the essentials.
We extended our trip because it was the most peaceful setting. And we plan to make it an annual visit, as long as they’ll have us!

Staying at Mrs. Pat's is a DREAM! We were made to feel very special and included on our small trip to the area! We were given a treat upon arrival, given a boost because my car died when setting up camp, allowed us to roam the property to explore, etc.
If Mr. Robin invites you to watch him in his blacksmith shop, do not hesitate! He is a wonderful teacher, and it was an incredible experience to watch creativity by fire and metal.
Explore the property, enjoy the frogs by the pond, go say "Hi!" to Sammy Fathead the buffalo, and stargaze in the open field.
Will return God willing (:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at campsite #6. It was private with great views of the ridge.

I am a firm believer that folks from East Tennessee are the most genuine, salt-of-the-earth people around and Pat, Johnny and Robin just prove my point. My stay with them was very enjoyable. I felt welcome and safe as a woman traveling alone. From getting to sample Pat’s baked goods to feeding the buffalo and my own personal tour of the property capped by watching Robin work in the blacksmith shop, it was a great evening. I stayed at site 6 which was flat, spacious and quiet with a beautiful mountain view. It was chilly but there was heat in the bathroom, which was a nice bonus. I opted for the firewood bundle and it even included kindling! A clean, safe and enchanting place run by creative, kind and friendly people. 100% recommend!

Pat and her husband were welcoming and hospitable. Pat greeted me when I arrived with a granola square which was enjoyed with a cup of coffee the next morning. The camp site was scenic and peaceful. I enjoyed the peacock, deer, buffalo and otter in the pond too. I had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens and look forward to my next visit.

Pat and her husband were friendly and hospitable. Pat greeted us when we arrived and gave us some homemade granola squares as a welcoming gift. These were fantastic and I enjoyed mine with my morning coffee. The camp site was scenic and we enjoyed the peacock, deer, buffalos, and the otter. The bathroom was clean and conveniently located to our camp site. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return on our next trip to the Watauga river.

Absolutely beautiful property. We only stayed one night and wish we were there longer. There is a nice bathroom (no showers) so it is also a great introduction to camping. Would be so fun to bring a family here to see the animals and explore the grounds.

If you have the chance to visit Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens, do it! Pat and her family are so kind and welcoming. The property is amazing. The gardens, ponds, flowers, sun rise & sun set, everything was a dream! We even got to see Sammy the buffalo and his herd and watch Pat's son Robin work in the blacksmith shop. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!
