We had a great time staying here. Love the views and how secluded it was. Host is very nice, and he gave us plenty of firewood. Fair price. Would definitely stay again.
My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful campsites that Steven and Paulette offer. You couldn't ask for more friendly and accommodating hosts. We had the opportunity to visit both sites due to rain preventing us from ascending Papa's Peak. While we were able to camp at Papa's Peak, the views and the sounds of nature - think lullabies from Whipporwills and Owls - were so beautiful and comforting. While in Bear Cove, we enjoyed the seclusion and the beauty. Steven and Paulette delivered wood, a picnic table, and a fire ring. We even brought home some fresh eggs from their farm. You can't go wrong camping here.
Beautiful secluded spot! Hosts were incredibly accommodating. I look forward to booking again. As recommended by hosts, make sure you have a vehicle that can traverse the .25 mi route from the hosts' driveway to the campsite. I was in a subcompact SUV with AWD and with caution, did fine.
Steven was friendly and helpful. The location is 15ish minutes from Pigeon Forge. Would stay again!
Stephen and Paulette greeted me at the gate and escorted me up to my spot. Wide open spot nice picnic table and fire ring. If private is what you’re looking for this is it ,also it’s very quiet. I had some friends pick me up at the site, as we went to a race at 4:11 speedway. We got back late and Stephen was outside ready to give me a ride to the site, which saved me a lot of walking, thanks Stephen! If I’m in the area again I will surely book Steven and pull it say it again!
Panther Creek Hideaway was a great spot! Nice and secluded and quiet. Due to all the rain we had recently, it was nice to have 4 wheel drive getting to the campsite. Something to keep in mind. We did not get to meet Steven & Paulette, but our fellow campers did and they were very welcoming and attentive to any needs that we had. We would definitely check out Panther Creek Hideaway again!
Great giant secluded spot. We were on campsite 1. I was able to get my Ford Taurus up to the camping spot on the property but it’s sketchy at certain points lol. Obviously it’s all good. Had a couple local dogs come visit and became our friends one morning and had breakfast with us. Big white dog and a red hound we named Big Red lol. My only complaint would be the little black dog you have to get through to get into the property. Not friendly at all. Besides that Steven took care of whatever we needed. Had firewood waiting for us when we arrived and delivered more when we ran out. Told us about some amazing local spots that we actually took him up on and wound up forging our own camping knifes. Such a great experience all around and couldn’t ask her a better host. Thank you Steven I will we booking again in the future.
Ps..Bring everything you need when you go up to the camping spot.

Thank y'all for the great review. We look forward to seeing you on the next trip. Sorry about bear (big black dog) he's still in training but an essential part of our Family. He protects the chickens and grandbabies. Great thing is he stays at the house and doesn't wonder back to campsites
We had this best time at site 1! It was super secluded and quiet. The location was also perfect--very close to the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. We definitely hope to come back!

Thank you very much for staying with us and we look forward to seeing y'all again🏕🏕🏕
