Fun in the mountains in tennessee!
Our second annual trip without any dissatisfaction. Horse riding, amazing food, creeks and a pool. What’s not to love?! The kids especially loved the water slide on a hot day. You don’t even need to leave the ranch for some fun. Highly recommend this place!
Perfect for horses & large rv's
Beautiful place run by nice, friendly people! It's a perfect place for horse owners who need a place for them to stay or for RV owners who want to save money on a full service RV site. The stars and sunsets are fantastic! And there is a fire tower nearby with a stunning view from the very edge of the Smoky Mountain N'tl Park. The only word of caution we'd offer is that the "General Store" and "Cafe" are not actually very functional, and the bath house was poorly cleaned. So we'd steer tent campers in a different direction since the nearest supplies of any kind are at least a 20 minute drive away.
If you're in eastern Tennessee this place is a must stay. A beautiful horse ranch nestled in the mountains. The host and everyone I met on the property are friendly wonderful people.
We needed a place to hook up our RV for one night on our way to the Smoky Mountains, and we were lucky to find the Meadow Creek Mountain Ranch through Hipcamp. Arrived late at night and were greeted by Claudia, who showed us around and warned us of oncoming rain (grass surface). She directed us to a spot from which we could easily pull out of the next morning, and made sure we had everything we needed.
I wish we'd had a chance to explore the lovely grounds, say hello to the horses, and meet other campers during our short stay. The ranch truly is a hidden treasure. Well worth the somewhat treachery road leading up to it.
This place is awesome. The site was great, the bathrooms and cafe were impeachable and probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever woken up. Just amazing. And there’s horses! The horses came over so I could pet them but I didn’t have any food so they seem to lose interest in me but still! Fantastic place.
