Camping with the (actual) Stars
Awesome stay at Hillbilly Haven! Phil is an excellent host is around if you need anything, yet leaves you alone when you don't. I stayed here for a month and it is a slice of heaven in this area of TN. Lots to do all around - less than an hour to Nashville, just about an hour to Mammoth Caves National Park (which is very cool if you haven't been). This is a stay in the "country" yet within 15 - 20 mins drive you are in town's with anything you can possibly need. Highly recommend.

First hipcamp stay was amazing!
What a beautiful setting. Can't say enough about this place. There were deer every night in the field right out in front of the camper. There's a trail to ride your ATV on. The view of the hilly country side is amazing. This was our first hipcamp experience and we will be doing it again. The host and his wife were awesome, very accommodating, and great to have conversations with. Even though we had to leave due to a family emergency, we still enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making it memorable! We will be back.

Phillip was a great host! Beautiful farm like setting, close enough to Nashville for visits but far enough away to see the stars at night! Super low key/chill at a very reasonable price!

I only wish i had scheduled more time here. You can camp " closer to home" with all the amenities. Or if you'd prefer, there are also some "roughing it options". I have a Jeep camper and Phillip kindly offered the top of the mountain as an option. Beautiful field up there with sky and views forever. Fantastic host, i reserved and showed up late and he was more than accomodating. I know to make more time for this next time, one of my best Hipcamp finds!
