Just the cutest place around!
This place was so cute and in the middle of nowhere and on a farm with a pig, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, and probably more but we didn’t explore to much. The camper was eyesight of a little pond with cute ducks in it. The location was very close to Piney Falls which was a beautiful hike! There are also nice walking trails on the farm that make you feel like you were as far away from civilization as you could be. At night the view of the stars is unbeatable!! Amy was an amazing host and I bet she’s just a cool person to hang around!
Happy Camper is perfect! Clean, well stocked with everything you need, and adorable. We had a fantastic stay! Amy is a wonderful host. She graciously included our five year old animal lover in afternoon feedings with the animals. Amy is quick to respond to any questions/concerns. She definitely made us all feel welcome. The entire property is beautiful with so many opportunities to be outside and enjoy nature which is exactly what we were seeking. We can’t wait to return!
We had such a great time hanging out around the Happy camper. It’s so cool how Amy has set it up with a little outdoor kitchen. Lots of seating, cool hanging lights, and the camper itself is, of course, awesome. It’s like stepping back in time in that thing. We found out by happy accident that there’s a power supply running to the camper itself, so the outlets work in there. We weren’t expecting it but it was a nice surprise. The property is beautiful. We loved petting the donkeys ( they came right up to us) and Herbert, the potbelly pig. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some good glamping, although my wife and I slept in hammocks under t he stars and that was great too.
Pretty much the cutest lil farm ever. It was so easy to unwind and relax from literally the moment we arrived. There cool trails, fun lil spots all over to hang out at and relax, and pups and a pig and etc etc. The lil Happy Camper was teeny but very cute. The thing about this place is that you are spending most of your time outside, taking walks, fishing, hanging at campfire, cooking at grill etc etc.
Happy camper was lovely!
Although small and rustic the camper at Happy Camper is fabulous. It has so much character and actually fit two adults and two small children. The outdoor space is one of the best perks. Amy has a great covered deck and the camper is right near the pond where our son fished for hours. We especially enjoyed the communal area where we used the grill and the kids played yard games. Amy was a terrific host and we can't wait to return.
Nature lovers’ playground/sanctuary
It was an amazing adventure!! I loved every second of it from beginning to end. It was a beautiful drive to get there and a beautiful spot to stay. We were just on the road heading north, unprepared for glamping but a friend of a friend stayed on the property last week and loved it so much we had to check it out. I don’t recommend coming unprepared but Amy helped us out. And they brought us fire wood for a great fire. We got to go on incredible hikes and play in a clear beautiful pond (which I even bathed in). I wish I could have stayed longer, I wasn’t ready to leave. Did I mention Herbert the pot belly pig? 🥰 🐷 Amy and her partner were incredibly hospitable! They made sure we had everything we needed without invading our privacy. I hope I can come back next year, and for longer.
