This was a disaster. After booking and reading the instructions to "go directly to your site" I messaged to get clarity on which site was ours (there looked to be three). The host replied back that it was up to us and we could pick. We followed directions exactly to the site and set up for the night only to be met shortly after dark by a very angry person who was the ACTUAL PROPERTY OWNER. The hosts have a land dispute with their neighbor and the campsite we followed directions to do not belong to the host! We then ended up in the middle of the two parties yelling back and forth at each other, we were blamed by the host for not following the directions correctly and not going to their house to introduce ourselves first. When I suggested they edit the listing to make things more clear, I was yelled at. The owner of the property ended up allowing us to stay however the hosts continued to yell at us that they were not okay with that. It was uncomfortable, unsettling and a bad situation. This family feud seems to go back YEARS and we were right in the middle of who feels they rightfully have access to land. Not only that but the hosts were rude, abrasive and did not take any responsibility. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The Ferguson farm is a great place to stop, nice quiet farm off the main byway but close to regional and state parks in the area. Jack and Betty are fantastic hosts and I recommend staying here if you're in the area.
