Couldn't have asked for more
This was our first experience in our new RV and we literally couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our host Elizabeth was very responsive to our requests & messages prior to booking the site. This is a working family farm, located in a great location 20 minutes outside of Murfreesboro, TN. They have a very unique approach to farming and enjoyed sharing their knowledge with us when we would purchase from their family store. (You have to buy their eggs when you stay here!)
They were very attentive and helpful with any event that occured during our stay. This was evident with our set up when I did not have enough hose for our black water/drainage and Reid (host's father) ran out that night while I was setting up to get another attachment so we could use the sewage.
I do need to warn, if staying in a camper when there is any freezing weather, be very careful as their concrete pad has a beautiful but slick finish. They were very helpful and laid out large rubber mat for us so that it was much safer following. We also had our awning break the first time we put it out and they were helpful in securing it (while I was working and my wife was present) to allow us to make our next journey in a timely manner and for me to not have to figure it out in the dark (since I worked 10 hour days).
Bottom line, if you want a private camping experience, with attentive hosts, a safe environment, and beautiful farm views, do not hesitate to book this site for your trip to middle TN. It's conveniently located with a Wal-Mart, Kroger, a Tractor Supply Company (where we filled up propane each time) and many other aneminities all with 10-20 minutes.
I wish I had more time to explore their farm but we will definitely be stopping back by in the future when in the middle TN area.
Nice single camp site on a farm
I sent them a text message to let them know that I would be there in approximately two hours and there was someone in the driveway waiting for me when I arrive to help with set up of my camper.
This is a perfect site for a travel trailer, RV or fifth wheel beautiful concrete pad next to a little covered seating area.
The bathroom was adorable and is exactly as pictured in their ad. It was spotlessly clean I almost felt guilty using the shower.
It was on a farm but it wasn’t smelly or noisy. There were chickens , cows and horses but they were out of sight.? You had to actually look for them if you wanted to see them. There were several areas with a little creek running through them and behind the campsite bathroom was a little bridge over one of the creeks and in the evenings it had Christmas lights on the bridge that made it absolutely adorable for a little evening walk.
This was perfect for what I was looking for as far as location and will return again.
They have a little camp store that supposedly sells eggs and homemade milk soap using the milk from their cows but we left to early in the morning and return home too late at night to ever visit the store.
The only thing I would like to change is the next time I camp there I would like to park my camper at a different angle so that my door is facing the covered outdoor seating area instead of facing the house. I have long enough electrical and water hose to make that possible for me.
