Inaccessible dirt road
written directions and GPS address was incorrect, my jeep pulling a 800lb trailer couldn't make the turn to access the campground. poor signage leading to property, dangerous roads leading to property
Camp Raggae was cool, unique, and kind of a curiosity. The hosts are wonderful, the bathrooms clean, and spots to camp are left to your own creativity. We learned, after the fact, that Sonia will cook Jamaican food for you or a regular breakfast upon request.
Good stuff nice and safe place
Great people great place. We were the only ones there and came late so we didn’t get a chance to explore. The look-out spot looks like the best place to camp.
Enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great, learned a lot about the history there, and their amazing little dog guided us through the trails to a nice sunset overlook. We’d do it again
The most amazing place! “Welcome home” indeed...I did not want to leave. Such a peaceful & beautiful property with an amazing views on the ridge & little hidden creek to meditate by. Nati & Sonia are incredible people & I can’t wait to come back soon ❤️
Exactly what i needed
Jatti and Marla were fantastic hosts. When I arrived there was a huge selection of different places to set up camp, from the woods on the ridge line, to a terrace overlooking the main stage, to secluded sites in the woods near the stream on the property. It was exactly what I was looking for and not too far off Route 64. There were some cooking grates already at the campsite, which made cooking super easy and benches there as well. Great trails on the property made it hard to leave, although only a 30 minute drive to some great hikes and rafting near and on the Ocoee River.
I can't wait to go back to Camp Reggae. It feels like a little wilderness paradise and adult summer camp. There's lots of sites around the property to choose from, a gorgeous overlook to watch the sunset, and a few trails to wander on. The toilets and shower were also clean! Highly recommend visiting Camp Reggae
I really liked the campsite, but I never actually meet the host. When I arrived the hosts friends were there setting up some campsites for their future use. They told me the hosts were out playing a gig (they're musicians) and they didn't know when they would be back so set up camp wherever. There house doesn't need to be there, but maybe a message or some instructions from them about their absence would have been nice.
