Located right on Caney Fork River, our campsite offers unlimited activities to bring out the kid in all of us. Tucked away in the hills of White County, "Campsite on the Caney" is a wonderful place for avid fishermen, boaters, kayakers, and the fellow outdoors lovers!

We provide electricity, septic, and water hookups for campers. Just please no dumping. We offer a private boat ramp/ driveway that leads to the water for launching boats, kayaks, and easier fishing access. Tents and car campers are welcome to stay down by the water where you can wake up right on the river bank. The campsite offers a swing set, picnic table, and saucer swing where campers can relax by the fire and enjoy watching the wildlife. Guests are more than welcome to string up a hammock by the water. When you book "Campsite on the Caney", you will be the only guest on site. I do not double book so guests can have the place to themselves.

Note: Cell service is spotty for Verizon and very scarce for AT&T.

Note: During the summer months, we may use our ramp to launch our boat but you will be notified in ample time.

It is recommended to bring a water pressure regulator to protect your water pipes of your camper.

We are just a few miles from Highway 111 and minutes from downtown Sparta. Sparta has so many options and styles of restaurants that you can never go hungry! Enjoy "Tavern Grill on 1 East Maple" for a unique atmosphere and a killer burger. For a wine and dine experience, I definitely suggest "Foglight Foodhouse" for top-notch cuisine. If your in the mood to unwind with a craft beer, I suggest "Happy Trails Brewing Company" and "Calfkiller Brewing Company" for the most eccentrics bars around! If your feeling casual and laid back, check out "Franks" for some banging wings and a great burger. "The Coffee Collective" is a must for the best coffee around with an excellent lunch menu. New in town, we have "Marioochi's Pizzeria on the Square" for great authentic pizza!

Surrounded by Fall Creek Falls State Park, Lost Creek Falls and Cave, Rock Island State park, Burgess Falls State Park, and Virgin Falls. Our campsite is minutes from Lost Creek Falls and Cave with a beautiful scenic drive through the back roads of White County. We have two amazing overlooks in White County: Welch's Point and Sunset Rock, that pictures do not do justice!

White County has more caves, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States. We are a bustling town with so much recreation, history, and culture that it has to be shared!

Our place is perfect for a weekend getaway for the whole family and we hope that you love "Campsite on the Caney" as much as we do.

I definitely recommend kayaking the Caney Fork and head up stream towards the Lost Creek community.

This was a great spot for access to the awesome hiking and beautiful waterfalls in the area! Cameron was very attentive and friendly, and the site itself was perfect for our needs. The picnic area was convenient and cute, we loved swinging on the swing and chatting into the night. River was gorgeous (and chilly!) and the fall leaves were perfect.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. Host was easily accessible for any questions and was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit. If you’re looking for a place with connection to your phone this is NOT the place. If you’re looking for quiet mornings sipping coffee and fishing in the river in your pjs... THIS IS the place. Convenient to Sparta, Cooksville, and Chattanooga day trip. Would stay here again.

Fall Creek Falls short hike. Cool rocks everywhere. Wild turkey visited every morning for their river water drink. Who will catch one first? Trip to Fall Creek Falls state park
