Don's campsite was amazing. If you can get a weekend there without anyone else on site, I highly recommend!
It is secluded, with amazing views, and water access.
It is a bumpy ride through cornfields, and I do wish I had 4WD, but did make it just fine in my kia niro.

Don’s place is wonderful! Third time camping here and can’t get enough. We had some trouble with weather and mud and rain, and he was so helpful, communicative and low maintenance. I would just recommend a good SUV with four wheel drive getting in and out.

Great stay, will return! Went camping just for the night. The site felt private, the water was perfect considering how hot it was, and our dogs had a blast. We we even able to see a bald eagle. Don was a great host! Upon arriving he was mowing the area and had brought our bundles of fire wood with him. Very pleasant stay!

We love it here! We try to come back every year. It was awesome until someone from the river just showed up and started hanging out at our campsite. It was kinda annoying but I will still go back. This time there were ants bad, and they were biting! Besides these 2 complaints, I have nothing bad to say! I love the fact that normally were totally alone while we’re there! Our dog runs free the whole time, until someone shows up or whatever..

Get ready for a good time! Don is a great host. Make sure to lock the gate as you come
in! This site is perfect for floating the river, kayaking around, or going for a swim! Definitely recommend!

This has quickly become my favorite summer campground. I brought friends from out of town last week and we had an incredible time. Pulled up, immediately took a dip in the river and set up camp. We had the place to ourselves and got to spread out some. East commute to Buffalo River Resort where we kayaked. Brought our pup too who had quite possibly the best night of his life.

This is a fun spot along the river. We set up our tent in a flat, shaded section about ten feet from the water edge. It was quiet and peaceful, and my 8 year old daughter had an easy time fishing.
