The tent sites are mostly level and can be secluded. There's a communal fire pit for use when permitted, a rustic communal camp shed where there's a wood fire that heats the shed and extra hot water. The shared camp shed has a sink, tables, chairs, BBQ and a hot shower and is under magnificent shady trees.
Further away is a 'long-drop' composting toilet. Possum beach can be easily accessed (200m) There are nice walking and biking tracks leaving from the camp edge in the 150 acre forest.
We have many walking and bike trails through the 150 acres of forest and pasture accessible to campers.
The Port Arthur Historic site and a safe swimming beach are within walking distance with Safety Cove and Remarkable Cave only a 5-minute drive away. Longer walks including the Three Capes tracks are easily accessible.
Launch your boat nearby to access good fishing or fish for squid off the Port Arthur jetty.Plenty of wildlife to see at night and birds during the day. You might even see our resident Wedgetail Eagle!

Marion’s property was fantastic! The camp kitchen was so handy, having a hot shower on sure too was just a god send. We tent camped here for 2 nights while we explored Port Arthur. No issues with the place at all - easy access, great communication with Marion, she was very helpful and accommodating. We loved the bush forest and open field vibes, and it’s so close to everything. Definitely recommend!

Lovely views of the water and a great place to base yourself for activities in the area. On a bit of slope but there are flattened out areas for setting up camp and it’s nice and grassy and not too crowded. Common area includes a kitchen with hot water so you can do your washing up without having to heat your own water etc. closing soon for some upgrading - looking forward to going back down the track.
Had a lovely stay at Semaphore Farm. Great facilities. Was fantastic having the camp kitchen with running hot water. The shower was great, lovely hot water and good flow.
Marian was very welcoming as were the other campers. Added bonus of being able to have our dog with us.
