Dog friendly camp.
I liked the river frontage and being able to have the dogs with me at camp. I had my own bag of wood but expecting to have some cold nights ahead the hosts let me use some wood onsite which helped and very much appreciate. would be great with a kayak in the warmer months but that will be next time
Lovely spot! Super easy to pull up to and plenty of space. Fire pit, rushing River, and fire wood for an extra $15 which came in handy! We drank from the stream to the left of the site and it was delicious.
This was a brilliant spot to spend the Easter long weekend. There’s plenty of space and easy access down to the rivers edge. I didn’t manage to catch a fish but we did have a swim. We brought our own fire wood but it is supplied if you need it. I’d highly recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be back at some stage.
Really at the edge!
We had a fabulous couple of days camped by the river with the weather Gods treating us well. The view of the canyon and the cliffs opposite really give you a sense of the wildness of our home state. And yes as mentioned in the description, make sure you can level up or you will have to park near the road!
Great prime spot by the river
Great prime spot by the river. The water was down a way as it is summer, so we had to be careful with accessing to be careful of snakes in the rocks. Beautiful view of river and forest on the other side of the river.
