Here you will find peace and tranquillity at its best with fantastic views, lots of trees, birds and greenery all around. This place is ideal for relaxing, getting grounded, de-detressing, walking, photo taking, nature loving.
Mt Roland walking tracks and Minnow Falls walking track start nearby. It's the perfect stopover on the way to Cradle Mountain. Lake Barrington, Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary, Mole Creek Caves, Tasmazia and Sheffield are nearby. 30 minutes from Devonport.
Peter is also specialty tea connoisseur and trader and has been involved in the tea business for many years, so feel free to talk tea and get some rare gourmet teas if are a tea lover!
Facilities include porto toilet, water, electricity, rubbish bins, picnic tables and wifi.
Please note access to our property is via a steep gravel driveway with a hairpin bend. It is accessible for 4WD and most 2WD vehicles as well as smaller caravans and motorhomes, but is not suitable for large motorhomes or large caravans. If unsure, please contact us.

Mt Roland retreat was the best way to end our camping trip! Peter and his wife are lovely and very accommodating - supplying us with firewood & fresh eggs. I also purchased one of their turmeric herbal chai teas, which is delicious.
I had a great experience camping at Mt Roland Retreat! The hosts were lovely and the atmosphere was great - not to mention the stunning views of Mt Roland and valley below!

We had a great night camping at Mt Rowland Retreat. The views are amazing and everything is provided for a comfortable stay; toilet, firewood, water. The hosts Peter and Robyn were very friendly, and go out of there way to ensure everything is just right. Would definitely return.

Roland Mountain Retreat is the perfect destination to relax, chill and to take in the beautiful vista's before you..
Peter and Robyn made us extremely welcome at there property.
They delivered fresh eggs on two occasions.
Peter is a Tea importer and gave us a couple samples of delicious tea.
Close to the town of Sheffield and some amazing hikes throughout Mt Roland.
The driveway is a bit steep , however
Our 21 foot van made it up with no problems..
I would highly recommend this property to stay at.

I loved camping on Peters land, it was very peaceful and both hosts were very friendly as were their adorable dogs. It is close to many great bush walks including Cradle Mountain. The tea was lovely too 😊

We had a lovely stay here after walking up cradle mountain all day. Incredible views, very welcoming and friendly hosts who even gave us farm fresh eggs and a very clean toilet tent.

Its' proximity to Mt.Roland made it very convenient.
