Great little spot . . .
Gorgeous lush paddock w lovely views to open paddocks and grazing cattle.
Although property in close proximity to railway line and road, I still highly recommend.
Great position for wild Mersey MTB tracks.
Nice mtb base camp for caravans
We stayed for three nights to ride the new mtb trails and compete in the Wild Mersey Enduro. Georgina's place made for a great base camp. We had self-sufficient caravans so access to water provided was all we needed. A nice grassy place with a peaceful outlook over the paddocks, cows, and bush, with a locally brewed Seven Sheds beer was a greatway to wind down after a day on the trails. We'll be back for sure.
Stayed 3 nights at Gewilebon for a mountain bike race around the Railton - Sheffield region. Our host Georgina was very helpful with easy to follow instructions. Camp area offered multiple options with nice lush green grass under foot and shade from the stand of blackwood trees. Will definitely stay again.
Tranquil location & friendly hosts
Very peaceful in a lovely spot, and onlyan easy 20 minutes from the ferry. Very easy to find thanks to the directions given. Georgina was super quick to respond to my request and very helpful. Thank you Georgina & Will.
Lovely spot, lush green grass, shady trees and great value with onsite water available. Host was very prompt with messaging etc and friendly. A little traffic noise from road at front and occasional train over back fence. Happy to go back sometime.
A great, relaxing place to stay.
Relaxing rural getaway close to local food and boutique brews and wines. Georgina, Will and their 2 dogs were so welcoming and helpful. There’s heaps of room so we had no trouble picking a spot. Our dog could run free and she loves it! She met cows for the first time (in the neighbour’s paddock). And we enjoyed exploring Railton and surrounds (sheffield, Latrobe, Spreyton) and then onto the Northern coast- Devonport is not far at all. Railton brewery is within walking distance, as are coffee shops, bakery, pub and servo.
We originally booked for one night to check it out- ended up staying for 2 weeks. We loved it and will be back if we are in the area! Thanks Gewilebon!
