The cabin is included in the site rental, offering the flexibility to bring your own mattress/bedding or have it provided as an add-on. Once here, you'll park near the farmhouse and take a 4 minute hike over the creek, through the meadow, and into the woods. *Driving to the site is an option if you have 4WD and the ground is not too wet. Exceptions for 2WD can be made if the weather forecast and ground conditions permit. As you approach the cabin and campsite, the trail opens up to an acre of green space shaded by large Sycamore, Walnut, and other native trees. Take a dip in the river, enjoy people watching as canoeist pass, or take part with a canoe or kayak rental from a nearby business (within 3 miles). The Little Miami Trail is also less than a mile down the road so bring your bike! The composting outhouse is serviced between each stay, meaning it's emptied, sanitized, and like new for each new guest. *Depending on your group size, the host may need to service/empty the outhouse once daily. There are two established campfire locations and a picnic table is provided. *This is a family residence. The hosts live onsite and although you will not see them from your site, you will likely hear kids/adults playing outside and possibly weekend tasks such as mowing/weed eating/etc. Other "noise pollution" may come from canoeists passing by or the gun/ATV riding club which is a 1/4 mile down the river. I had a lot of fun on this trip! The dome was nice and comfy even though there were a bit of ladybugs inside seeking warmth I assume. I didn’t mind either way because being in nature comes with the bugs. speaking of warmth, the heater kept us warm throughout the night even overheating us at points until we realized there was a temperature set on it. I’m very glad that accommodation was there for the cold. I do suggest getting there before it starts getting dark so you can get a fire going for light when nighttime comes. Even though the bathroom is a bit of walk (as expected with camping), it was a very nice bathroom and well kept. Definitely bring some flashlights or have your phone with you for light because there isn’t too much lighting provided outside except for some lamps and ground lights here and there along the trail to the dome. The area around the dome and the dome itself felt very private and secluded so it really made you feel immersed in nature. I saw some reviews saying all they heard were cars because it is next to a road, but the dome is up in the hills so there were barely cars driving by and I didn’t notice them. I also saw reviews saying the dome in right next to the owners home and it didn’t feel private. Even though I saw the home in the distance, They have fences built around the dome to ensure campers’ privacy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and suggest it for anyone looking for a getaway. One night was a relief from our unnaturally busy lives!

This was a great spot to camp! The views of the night sky were awesome and surroundings were peaceful and snow covered. The firewood was priced well and good sized which helped during the cold. The communication and directions were clear, and the price for being as close to the city while still being an escape is a bargain. I will definitely be camping here again in the future!

We didn’t pick the best weekend to go camping, but Aimee’s land made the stay the best that it could have been with the wet weather. The outhouse was convenient and conveniently located to our relocated site, since our van only allowed us to park at site 1. I didn’t realize that the other sites were walking access only, and especially since the land was wet, our van, which was our RV, prevented us from accessing our original requested location. The sauna was a feature that we really enjoyed; and the wood, which was convenient to buy there, after many attempts in the wet weather, finally took fire. Overall, considering the conditions, Aimee’s property made the stay the best.

Fantastic location right on the river. Lots of privacy with no contact with others besides the host. The property is wooded with a hill behind you, and heavy forest left and right. The little Miami river is the other border. Plenty of space to park a couple vehicles, although you will want some room to turn around to get out. We setup a large 6-person tent near the river's edge. Two picnic tables are setup nearby, with a metal fire pit. The host has a huge pile of chopped wood for sale if you need more on demand. There is a very basic cabin also in the camping area that gives a bit of shelter if you want to camp but also have a normal bed, or camp with a backup plan if it starts raining. The outhouse was a really nice touch. Many camping locations needing a #2 option can get tricky, this handles all the stuff right there. Overall really happy how it all turned out. Fantastic spot that we will return to again.

Pack your essentials and escape to the Little Miami River Valley's best kept secret. Our off-grid cabin and tent campsite is situated on 14 acres along the National and Scenic Little Miami River. The cabin is included in the site rental, offering the flexibility to bring your own mattress/bedding or have it provided as an add-on. Once here, you'll park near the farmhouse and take a 4 minute hike over the creek, through the meadow, and into the woods. *Driving to the site is an option if you have 4WD and the ground is not too wet. Exceptions for 2WD can be made if the weather forecast and ground conditions permit. As you approach the cabin and campsite, the trail opens up to an acre of green space shaded by large Sycamore, Walnut, and other native trees. Take a dip in the river, enjoy people watching as canoeist pass, or take part with a canoe or kayak rental from a nearby business (within 3 miles). The Little Miami Trail is also less than a mile down the road so bring your bike! The composting outhouse is serviced between each stay, meaning it's emptied, sanitized, and like new for each new guest. *Depending on your group size, the host may need to service/empty the outhouse once daily. There are two established campfire locations and a picnic table is provided. *This is a family residence. The hosts live onsite and although you will not see them from your site, you will likely hear kids/adults playing outside and possibly weekend tasks such as mowing/weed eating/etc. Other "noise pollution" may come from canoeists passing by or the gun/ATV riding club which is a 1/4 mile down the river.
