The LCR was established January 1st, 2015 as the ambitious result of the owners, James and Debby who dreamt of always having a ranch/recreational destination property. There are no small town main streets or stores, fancy restaurants or coffee stands, not even any museums or other touristy attractions..... what you will find is a remote, peaceful, serene, and private setting with a great history and relatively easy access to any of those things; all less than 30 minutes away. You'll also be in close proximity to Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Flathead Lakes (plus countless other lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams), as well as all of the other wonders the Flathead Valley and Northwest Montana offers. Our property offers two Full RV sites and two tiny cabin rentals. The RV's can be reserved here on Hipcamp and the cabins are available on VRBO #2432106 or #2432361 for reservations. For more information and pictures. The RV sites have water, sewer, and electric hook-up(s) 15ft or less from your unit so please make sure your connections are long enough. There is no cellular service or coverage but we have very good Internet access and WiFi calling is available with most smart phones. Enjoy your time watching deer graze, fish jumping in the pond, or star gazing unlike you’ll ever see...or just relax with a good book. Our property has many options nearby or about an hour away including Flathead and Whitefish Lakes, Glacier National Park, and a myriad of other lakes or hiking trails. You can also find shopping or exploring in any of the downtown areas nearby. Pets allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them. We look forward to having you visit us in America’s “Last Best Place”! James and Debby Abraham

Drive-in, park, and begin enjoying all the crazy, fun, or just relaxing things you want out of your private lakefront property. You're on the shores of Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake, this side of the Mississippi, and home of Wildhorse Island, where the Boone and Crocket world record Bighorn Sheep was discovered, killed by winter weather. This 2160 acre island is also the home of deer, mountain lions, bears, several species of eagles, and wild horses. Day hiking is allowed and is a 5-minute boat ride from your beach spot. Just slightly over an hour to Glacier National Park and access to all the mountain lakes, rivers and streams to explore, you won't be bored. Right around the corner, you have access to a boat ramp at one of the state-owned Parks with public showers, if the lake water is too cold. These are newly developed sites (2021) nested on the back of our property about 200ft from our house on a dead-end road. We have rural neighborhood vibe, with a 2 mile scenic paved walking path nearby. We have newly planted trees and shrubs, so not much afternoon shade. With the open areas sunrises and sunsets are fantastic! Both back in sites are 40’ in length with extra vehicle parking available. Please confirm your measurements before booking. There is enough room to easily pull in and then back into your spot. Ideal for Class-A motor-homes, fifth wheels, tent trailers, travel trailers, pick-up campers and self-contained van campers. Additionally, 1 tent is allowed at each site. Because there are no bathrooms we are unable to accept TENT ONLY camping at this time. Both campsites have full hookups including artisan well water, septic, with 50 amp electric on site #2 and 30 & 50 amp electric on site #3. Garbage receptacle is located by the east side of the greenhouse. Plenty to see and do in the Flathead Valley. Lots of wonderful local restaurants, pubs, breweries and wineries. Tons of trails to hike, rivers to raft, lakes to boat and parks to stroll. We have a list of our favorites, don’t hesitate to ask!

Overview

About

Have a wet hot American summer at Logan, the state park nestled within a dense douglas fir and ponderosa pine forest. It’s easy to pretend you’re back at summer camp with an afternoon of swimming in Middle Thompson Lake, or a game of horseshoes that lasts until the ring of the dinner bell. Logan has all the dependable summer classics, with some supa fine lake views thrown in. Water ski, fish, and motor boat to your inner 12 year-old heart’s content. Paddle all the way across the lake and take in the sight of tall mountains blanketed in green. There’s nothing but mile after mile of forest here. End the night with a group talent show on the water and you’ll be tearing up like it’s the final night of Summer ‘98 (or ‘88...or ‘08?).
