Pretty open availability, train came through and highway was audible but totally manageable. Lots of fun sleeping by the river, would definitely stay again

Overall this was a great stay! My only complaint is that there is zero direction for how to proceed if you arrive after hours. I just picked an empty spot which worked fine, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Still a great place to break up my trip & I’ll stop again if I’m ever passing through again!

Nice. Clean. Friendly. Close to road. Trucks would hit rumble strips. But quiet at night

Easy to access, close to the highway, and nice if you need a spot while passing through. I was nervous about being so close to the train but it wasnt a problem at all.

Kent was great! I made the mistake of reserving a spot for my camper and they only take tent reservations through Hipcamp, but he made it work and found us a spot so we could enjoy Sturgis! Coffee every morning, breakfast and dinner were offered daily for an additional charge, clean bathrooms and showers and amazing people! I highly recommend checking it out. We made new friends and can’t wait to come back!

We unknowingly booked our stay during Sturgis so the campground was very full. However, it was very clean and there was no issue with noise at night. We were able to get a good night's rest on our cross-country trek. Bathroom/showers were clean and easy to use.

This was a decent enough place to stay — probably better if you’re in an RV. The camping spots are tightly situated, so not a lot of privacy from other campers. The place is squeezed between a small stream and a county highway. Semi trucks and car traffic all night long with headlights flooding our tent every few minutes. We didn’t sleep a wink all night and bugged out about 4 a.m.
