Very convenient to Sioux Falls, friendly cute dogs and a cat, and a host who made sure we had a dry spot to place our tent after heavy rains - perfect for our needs.
Staying at the Currier campsite was wonderful. The hosts were a treat to speak with, the property was safe and well-kept, and the on-site pups were friendly, too! Really enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again.
Pretty property. Fairly easy to fine but I’d recommend maybe a HipCamp logo sign by the driveway.
The owners were kind enough to set up a potty tent as well.
Cheers!
The host was nice, but quiet a few issues.
Not at all as advertised. Open field with no trees and shadows. Right next to a dusty gravel road. "Bathroom" is a bucket in a tent, which was fallen, rolling and spilling when we arrived.
Laura was great! She offered accommodations and she responded quickly to communication. Her site was quiet and private, a perfect place to stay after a long day driving on the road. I would recommend staying here.
Toilet is not available although it is still listed as an amenity. Fire pit and WiFi were not provided either (although we didn’t request them specifically - it says they are available). Host wasn’t home (which she let us know ahead of time) but didn’t provide instructions on where to camp although I asked. The site is just a normal house’s front lawn. Not scenic or private; the picture of a creek and wildlife is not from this property. Also a power substation right our front. Not worth the $30 + $5 fee. Maybe $15 to pitch a tent in a convenient location off of I-90.

Emily, I apologize, greatly, for not being there to guide you to the firepit and a better location. I would love to make it up to you if you give us a second chance.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. I believe you chose the site that was right next to a row of trees. I strive to give my campers privacy and seclusion which is why I did not know that the toilet had blown over. If you would have let me know I would have gladly fixed it for you. I would have also been happy to move you to a more shaded area. Again, I apologize.
