As a biodiverse regenerative farm, we put the environment and the regeneration of our soil and ecosystem first in everything we do.
We began our journey farming back in 2015 when we bought our first small piece of property located just 15 minutes from our current farm. After raising food for ourselves on a small sustainable scale, we decided we wanted to take things to the next level and begin our journey as a true regenerative farm. We purchased our current 40 acres which was completely mismanaged timberland and began our journey in Fall of 2019 in our forestry and ecosystem management.
Through the use of 100s of pigs, 1000s of chickens, goats, cows, ducks, guinea hens and rabbits, along with permaculture techniques in our forest and a large no till garden, we have began a 25 year process in reestablishing a working forest ecosytem that will leave our land in better condition for us and for native plants and animals than when we started.
With over a mile of walking trails, hundreds of animals to see, working in their natural habitat of the forest, our farm will leave you in wonderment of what the future of farming could look like and leave you inspired to shop more local, put better food from local farms on your plates and be general better stewards of the environment.
Wake up along side of our animals, walk our trails at sunset and take in the natural beauty of the Lowcountry of South Carolina that you can find right here in our backyard.
Our farm is a TRUE WORKING FARM meaning that most of our income comes from the farm and we are a large operation with many moving parts. We raise our animals for slaughter and it's important to realize, although our animals are incredibly maintained and cared for, this is not a petting zoo. There are times, where harvesting of both plants and animals is occurring on property as we are a South Carolina Department of Agriculture Certified Processor. We are stewards of the land and of both plants and animals. We sell our meat and egg products on the farm and we also stock our PAY WHAT YOU CAN PRODUCE STAND seasonally with ORGANICALLY grown veggies from our garden which you'll find at the head of our driveway to the farm.
If you're interested in scheduling farm tour during your visit, please let Marissa, the owner and operator know upon booking. She is available for tours most days except Tuesdays and Saturdays and on Sundays when she's teaching farm classes.

The bed in the camper was super comfortable. It was a short stay for me but the RV was the perfect temperature and the space was very clean and tidy. In the morning I walked down and hung out with the pigs and chickens for a few minutes. It was a cool experience and the hosts were super nice and helpful!
We really enjoyed our stay on the farm...retro trailer just perfect and set away from the rest of the working farm area. It's just a short walk on the trail to see all of the action! Definitely lots of animal sounds, so if you're not into that, this may not be the place for you. We think it's pretty cool to be around so many animals, and Marissa and her family are doing things the way it's meant to be! Make sure to visit their food stand and meat trailer!
The camper is cute and cozy, the hosts are lovely and helpful, and it’s amazing to see all the animals. There’s a great sunset over the back pasture as well!
