Great trails for hiking, private hardwood forest with a cool creek winding through. There is no hunting on our property so deer and turkey flourish. You choose where to set up camp--out of 265 acres, we can recommend some really cool spots! Our Percherons and Tennessee Walking horses enjoy a good meet and greet too!

Traveling with horses? No problem! You're welcome to ride on our trails and we do have stalls in our barn and a gated paddock.

We have chickens and fresh eggs, a variety of produce from our gardens (check out our Extras!), peafowl roaming around our house and several domestic geese.

Excellent birding here, as we've seen a variety of local and migratory species on the farm:

Barred Owl, Great Horned Owl, Screech Owl, Pileated Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Downies, Flickers. Belted Kingfisher. Great Blue Heron. Little Green Heron. Great White Egret. Ruby-Crowned Kinglet. Carolina Wren. Goldfinch, Purple Finch, House Finch. Rose Breasted Grosbeak. Blue Grosbeak. Hooded Mergansers. Many, many more!

We keep bees and if you're interested in learning during a hive-check day, you're welcome to don a veil and observe the workings of a honey bee colony. Because we keep bees and care deeply about the natural environment, we do not use pesticides on any of our fruits or vegetables.

We look forward to meeting you, showing you around and recommending some wonderful camping spots.

Kip’s beautiful farm property provided the perfect weekend getaway for my group (I traveled with my friend and our two dogs). Our hosts, Kip and Connie, were there to meet us when we arrived and led us across the property to our campsite overlooking the creek. I drive a Mazda CX-5 and had no issues accessing the spot. Our location was a short distance into the woods and an easy walk to both the trail going down to the creek and an open pasture. We also explored some other trails that laced through the property. The sky was clear so each night we went to the pasture to watch the sunset and look at the stars. Our dogs loved the freedom to run around and explore and we really enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. We were told there were other campers on the property but it is so big that we did not see or hear anyone during our stay. Connie text to see if we were good on water and if we needed anything which I thought was very kind. 10/10 would recommend staying with Kip!!
