It's a nice quiet location, and 9 mins to the hunting island state park, 20 mins to restaurant and shopping center.
There were 5 tents there during my staying, I can hear every conversations, and someone had this machinery noise throughout the two nights I was there...
I also had lots of bites and ticks on me, not sure it's on the camp ground or in the park where I visited. Hesitate to go back
So serene!! Drinking water & lots of shady spots for tents / hammocks / vans! Quick walk to a free beach along the bay (there’s not any free beaches in this area alongside the normal beach - not a bay - you have to pay $8/ day per person) but this spot i is close to a beach on the bay
We loved camping here. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We were the only guests and camped in our camper by the pond. Had a small fire and a good nights rest among the wildlife. We woke to see the horses grazing…loved it!

The space, the horses, the trail ride we booked through Camelot? Exactly what my daughter & I needed.
