We had a great girls trip and absolutely loved staying on Christa’s property! Our dogs had room to roam…it was so private and Christa was so laid back and kind…I will definitely book again the next time I head Charleston!

We camped at Christas for 3 nights and it’s an amazing setting! Set right on the tidal pools under shady oaks draped in Spanish moss, we had a soft breeze blowing every morning and evening. Sounds of nature on the marsh and lots of peace and quiet!
We were about 35 minutes from Edisto Beach & 40 minutes from Charleston. Christa was very helpful with local restaurant suggestions.
We emptied our black and gray tanks as we headed out of town at Lake Aire RV Park in Hollywood. Would def stay again!
Christa was a great host with a beautiful, peaceful location.
Beautiful property right on the marsh/river. Christa was a gracious host. We had everything we needed.

Christa's Hipcamp is exactly as described: a sanctuary! We had an amazing two weeks camping with the salt marsh at our doorstep framed by Spanish moss swaying from live oak branches. The bird life was varied and constant and the pool and fresh chicken eggs were major highlights. While rural and quiet, the location was close enough for us to explore the incredible sites the area has to offer.
Beautiful place, right on the water, exactly as listed. Christa was a wonderful host and communication was great. The county park in walking distance is worth a visit too. We hope to come back again!
Christa's property is truly a Sanctuary. Lovely spot to camp next to a tidal waterway with lots of beautiful birds. Christa was welcoming and friendly.

Place was quiet and peaceful. Relaxing watching the tide bring water into the marsh. We had a blue bird that loved pecking at our camper van window and chirping to wake us up in the morning.
Christa was a fabulous host! Welcomed us in and showed us power & water amenities quickly. It was smooth sailing from then on. The kids enjoyed running in the yard, swinging on a nearby swing & built a lovely fire in the on-site fire pit.
A safe & scenic offering that offers such nice privacy. Quintessential low country views - marsh & moss - we truly enjoyed it & highly recommend!
