Boondocking Near Table Rock Park
Convenient to Table Rock
I stayed at Phil & Sonia’s the night before my thru hike of the foothills trail. Their site is easy to find & only a couple miles from Table Rock State Park. It was pouring rain when I arrived & began setting up my canopy & tent. Sonia’s mom offered the use of a truck camper they have on the property. After failing to get my canopy up & getting soaked & cold, I took shelter in the camper. Saved my bacon!

Awesome stay!
Had an amazing stay at this location. Super close to table rock state park. Got a great recommendation from Sonia on nearby mountain bike trails and the locking gate made for nice peace of mind! Definitely plan on staying again if I can get the time!

Great Campsite
Great little camping spot perfect for a smaller RV or tent camping. You will have a private meadow all to yourself, complete with a clean little outdoor bathroom. There is a house nearby but it still feels private. Perfect for a basecamp to hike the surrounding area.
The camping area is behind a locked gate so it feels very secure.
The hosts were incredibly warm and hospitable and greeted us upon arrival. They made the whole experience super easy.
Will definitely be back to camp here again!

The Little Ol' Camper
Cozy camper for nature lovers
The Little Ol' Camper received me again, cozy and warm in the cold winter night, clean, and with all basic things ready, just like the first time. For those in love with the Table Rock mountain, there cannot be a better location or deal, right in the Aunt Sue's "backyard" for yummy meals, and couple minutes from the hiking trails. The camper itself is situated on a large parcel of green ground surrounded by trees, secluded yet not isolated. In a clear night, the miriad of stars enclose the space in magic. This area along Hwy 11 through Pickens and Oconne counties is full of wonders of nature, from several state mountain parks, lakes, countless waterfalls to hidden gems with swimming holes and sliding rocks. Coming here for kids' delight or for sacred, regenesis time, there are plenty spots for either.

Stay here!
We met Sonia and her mom when we arrived. They were so kind and thoughtful and helpful. We stayed in our little 20ft RV here. They made sure we could hook up to power, had wood for a fire and access to a grill, toilet and stove-fired shower setup. We made marshmallows over the fire and enjoyed the whole camp to ourselves. Sonia was an excellent communicator. Their place is easy to get to and was really close to lots of the activities we had planned. We would love to come back!

The Little Ol' Camper
Had a great night staying (glamping) in the camper. Enjoyed the fire pit and grill, and the camper had all the amenities I needed. Rain moved in on chilly night and the camper was warm and cozy inside with a comfortable bed. It’s a perfect and very affordable location to explore Table Rock State Park and surrounding area. Hiking, kayaking, fishing, and biking are just minutes away. Directions were spot on and Sonia was a gracious and kind host.
