Tent Camping or RVing

I had a great time here. The site is very flat, spacious, and clean. The gazebo and fire ring is wonderful, with swing seats. The bathroom and laundry room is the best I have seen in any campground. There are plenty of trails for dogs, but they need to be leashed.
Lorie’s site is not just a campground. There are cabins and horse riding also. The horses are not for the campers. It’s a separate business in which people who own their horses come here to stage their rides. The horse paddocks use life electric fences. So be careful with dogs.
Overall it is a very tidy and clean place. I’d camp here again if in the area in the future.

The Rusty Spur is just lovely! It was very well decorated for Christmas. Neat and well taken care of. The hosts were friendly and kindly shared their pot and pan with us, since we forgot ours at home. They have horses. They have cabins and RV spots. All amenities. The large gazebo with swings and a fire pit in the middle is a hit! Very cozy. We recommend this farm.

This is a hidden gem far off of the beaten path. The ad does not do it justice. The setting is beautiful, the hosts super accommodating, and the site very well-maintained and clean. The only word I have for the bath house is “wow!”. I arrived after dark on a rainy night. I was met in the driveway and escorted to my spot, and was even offered assistance with my setup. A couple of times during my stay I needed something I hadn’t brought and was offered to use of the hosts’. I wish I’d checked out the bath house before I was washing up prior to leaving! The shower was huge. There was even a washer and dryer for use of guests. I felt very safe there and would definitely stay there again if I was in the area!

Lorie was friendly and very communicative! We loved this spot for its tranquility and nearness to Myrtle Beach. In about 45 min we could get to my parents rental on the beach. Everything was easy and great! Even had ice Bags we could take on the road with us. We really appreciated the hospitality!

All we asked for was a dry place to set up our tent and thats what we got. I was happy to meet with the host late at night. He showed us our spot. We came in late and left early. I felt safe and comfortable.
