**Generators - whisper quiet and on-board only. Quiet hours 8pm-8am**
You'll be parking along the tree line backed up to the corner of the picnic pavilion/garden shack, close to and parallel to the telephone poles that are laying on the ground. Please DO NOT use my neighbors driveway to back in to my driveway unless there is no other option. It's ok to do a "pull forward" into it the beginning of it to help but please don't pull all the way in it. It's ok if you drive on my lawn, but it can become soft when it rains a lot.- If you have a larger rig 27'+ you'll likely want to back in the driveway so you're facing away from the trees. If you have a smaller rig <27' you can back in or pull in (may require driving on lawn) there is some room to maneuver. - Class A & C in an effort to minimize blocking the street when flat towing or using tow dolly. I recommend disconnecting locally and driving your towed in separately. The closest large parking lot is at Hobby Lobby. If you have a tow dolly you can leave it near my mailbox and I'll use my tractor with 2" tow ball to move it so it doesn't have to moved by hand. If your rig is ~<32' you can do the above or pull in and disconnect and then turn around. - I also have plenty of room to park additional vehicles and trailers.
**Due to not being able to work from home as much, weekdays it's mostly self parking before 5 pm. Arrival time can be as early as 10am if the spot is empty. If the spot was full the night before and you want to arrive early please contact me ahead of time and/or the night before to see when the previous guest is leaving. If you don't want to arrive early or have not contacted me I'll plan your arrival for 5pm or later. On weekends arrival anytime after 2pm or the spot is empty. Please let me know your planned ETA.
Pets - Please clean up after your pet. I clean my yard daily but sometimes doggie landmines get missed. If you have a problem with the possibility of coming across one, please do not reserve a site with me. I have a gray mailbox mounted vertically with flags for guests to mark them and any other hazards they find. Thank you for understanding. Our Border Collie is 8 years old is well behaved and does well with other dogs. PLEASE DO NOT throw whatever he brings you. We need to limit the amount of running he does so he doesn't hurt himself again. He also quickly becomes a nuisance by putting it underfoot and being in the way. Cats that stay inside are ok. Please don't mind if he growls at your cat, he's never meet one. We think he thinks they're squirrels and he thinks it's his job to keep squirrels out of the yard.
Local information - We have an information mailbox that has tons of local flyers, brochures, things to do magazines, state maps and such. You can keep anything that there is more than one of. If you go somewhere please grab a flyer and leave it in the box for future guests. There's also a composition/guest book to sign and/or give reviews/recommendations of places you've been. Within a few miles there are many grocery stores - Aldi, Lidl, Lowe's foods, Walmart, Target, Food Lion, Publix, World Market; Local restaurants, Fast food, Lowe's, Home Depot, TSC (best place I've found to refill Propane), Hobby Lobby and tons of other places to go. Multiple gas stations with diesel. Lake Murray is 3.5 miles away has a walking path over the damn, public boat launch ~6 miles away, Saluda Shoals Park, Riverbanks Botanical Garden, Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, Columbia Canal and Riverfront Park, South Carolina State Museum, The Congaree National Park Harry Hampton Visitor Center, worlds largest fire hydrant...
Misc. Info - There are a half dozen places to dump tanks near by. The 2 that I've been to but never dumped at are Love's truck stop 11 miles away at 340 Longs Pond Rd, Lexington, SC 29073. 2nd is Barnyard campground ~5 miles away at 201 Oak Dr., Lexington, SC 29073. I think they're both $10. We have room in our trash for a kitchen sized trash bag if needed. We also have a large recycling can you can use, there's a big sticker on the lid that lists what can go in it. There is a small can near it for crushed aluminum cans, we give them to the Fire Department.
It's ok to spend nights away while you rig stays here, have a limited number of guests come visit you here, have packages delivered while you're here or ahead of time so they'll be here when you arrive.
Would love suggestions on for improvements. Currently planning a guest shower. If you would like a long stay we can have a port-a-john delivered for $80 a month.

Memorial day weekend
Mark is an excellent host who goes beyond to provide a nice stay. Spot was level. We had access to water and 120 voltage power. We used our inverter generator to run our AC. Remy, his dog, came to share his toys daily. He got along well with our dog as well.
Marks place is quiet but close to everything you need.
