We are an active farm with a goat dairy, cheese room and equestrian center. We are .5 mile from Francis Biedler Forest and Audubon Center. Everyone rises early on the farm, chickens, goats and donkeys are all very loud to the inexperienced ear. Accordingly, their caretakers hit the rack early; therefore we’ve strict quiet hours after 10pm. Talk and laughing is fine; nothing electronic. Even quiet acoustic guitar is fine, just not the whole band. Sample fresh goats milk, farm fresh eggs and cheese. You’ll love the peace you’ll find here.

Showed up shortly after 1pm and was promptly greeted by our host. We were provided with a brief tour of the property to include the names of all of the animals. The kids absolutely loved it. Our host acknowledged there was a slight communications issue with our space but we were able to resolve that ASAP with no delay in hooking up the camper. We were at the "RV Site #2" which was secluded and had ample amenities available. We tripped the 30A breaker as this was our first time using the camper and the host was quick to reset the breaker for us. They provided their personal cell numbers for faster response if we needed it over night. I cannot express how grateful we are that they opened up their farm for our family to freely wander and pet the horses, see the goats, and be entertained by the chickens. Overall a very amazing experience and definitely will be a repeat experience for us. They have water and electric but no sewage. However, there is a Flying J down the road (about 20 minutes) that has a RV dump station that is very convenient. Highly recommend Hope Havens Farms, and the eggs!
A little slice of heaven
This is not a place for "glampers". But if you want to be surrounded by historic low country beauty and "salt of the earth", fantastic people, it doesn't get any better. The animals are all loving and loved, like pets. Denise and Stephen are more like stewards of this magical place than "owners" and I will be back again and again!!
A farm oasis in the pecan groves
We stayed here on a road trip down to Charleston and we arrived late in the day. It was such a relief to find a beautiful and peaceful place to camp for the night. Denise was incredibly nice and thoughtful and the farm is beautiful. We loved all of the animals that surrounded us in our stay. Definitely a place worth checking out for animal lovers!
A hidden gem! and magic Dr Dolittle goat farm run by a super accommodating really nice family! If you like private primitive tent camping or small RV camping and you love farm animals it’s a really fun experience. I felt right at home and will definitely be going again!
Great stay at hope haven!
We had a great time at Hope Haven Farm! The hosts were excellent and gave us a tour of the farm and introduced us to the animals. It’s a quiet peaceful place to camp AND play with some goats and sheep :) Thank you Denise for the hospitality.
Had an absolutely wonderful overnight stay at Hope Haven Farm ... If you’re ever in the Charleston SC area definitely check them out... What a memorable experience!!
Left with a gallon fresh goats milk and cheese 🙂 (and our son even helped do the milking)!! 🐐 So fun!
We had a wonderful stay . Denise and Steven went out of their way to welcome us and give a tour of their farm animals. Really enjoyed holding the new born goats and watching the milking process. Highly recommend a visit even if it’s a bit out of your way. Ask Denise for her recipe for their garlic goat cheese spread on grilled salmon! Bob & Barb from Maryland.
