REST and REFUEL with some outdoor therapy at our primitive glampsite. The peace and even healing that can occur from spending time in nature has hugely impacted our lives-- so much so that we wanted to create a space for others to enjoy as well. This cozy retreat is nestled into the woods overlooking our spring-fed pond on our 9.5 acre homestead. While the location is only minutes away from bike trails, walking paths by the river, and our local downtown restaurants/ shops, our unique space on our property makes you feel as though you have escaped into the mountains. We are thrilled for you to enjoy the beauty of our land. Enjoy kicking back around a cozy campfire in our fire pit on the deck, or follow the trail to the spring-fed pond for fishing, canoeing or swimming. We also have provided an eno hammock for your use!This glamping high quality Kodiak canvas tent is perfectly positioned on a large elevated deck to overlook a gorgeous valley and waterfront view of our pond. Deck has two chairs, firepit and small camping table. The tent itself is fully covered by a sturdy rainfly, keeping you cozy and dry no matter what the weather brings. The tent includes a comfy queen bed, chair and bedside table that includes extra blankets, eno hammock, portable lantern, french press coffee, kettle, mugs, 2 bottles of water, oscillating fan, noise machine, and deck of cards. There is a pop up bathroom tent with primitive camping toilet available. The glampsite is a short walk from the parking spaces, across the yard and then into the woods on a well-lit path. Keep in mind there is no electricity or wifi. * Please remove shoes before entering tent.

Pond View Glampsite

We had an awesome time! The hosts add extra touches to make the trip feel extra special. We enjoying canoeing, hammocking, and relaxing by the fire. Definitely recommend for a comfortable camping-like vacation.

I was traveling so my stay was very short. Everything was very comfortable and tidy. I could hear a few owls at night! That was my favorite part. I would definitely stay again.

Picturesque

I loved my time spent at The Hesed site. On arrival I was greeted with beautiful wildflowers on each side as I drove in. Clear signs to site. It was very clean and inviting upon my arrival. The site was elevated on a deck surrounded by beautiful trees, view of a gorgeous pond and the sounds of leaves falling. It was the perfect autumn getaway. The bed was clean and cozy. The fire pit was already prepped with firewood and had extra nearby. I had a peaceful time and would stay again!

the place is beautiful and the bed is super comfy. My girlfriend and I went for her birthday and they had left us treats upon arrival. There is lots of firewood and a kettle and coffee. 10/10 experience.
