Denver downs farm near clemson
Denver Downs Farm was a quiet camping experience on the edge of a gigantic open field. We enjoyed our weekend here. The staff were friendly and helpful however we were unable to squeeze in a trip through the corn maze which was a disappointment to our 11 year old. We will likely be back.
Great experience. will return soon.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. We were met promptly upon arrival and were given a choice as to where we could park during our stay (we appreciate this greatly). Our host family and their lovely farm were awesome. We were there for an on site concert event and everything was great. We would recommend this host to anyone and hope to come back again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Denver Downs Farm. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ron, who gave us a quick tour of the farm and showed us where we could place our tent for the night.
The animals on the farm were currently being kept across the road for the summer and are usually on the grounds. During the fall months is when the farm is the most popular due to the many activities available, such as a corn maze, rock climbing wall, petting and feeding animals, and other farm activities. They also host a large music festival in the late summer.
Catherine called to check in on us while we were there and shared other things to do in the nearby area. Our stay at Denver Downs Farm was very relaxing and peaceful. Would recommend coming by in the fall to get the full experience. Thanks for having us!
Denver Downs is a great place to stay if you're looking for a field camping experience. Recommend having activities planned during the day as the field does not have much shade and it is good to get out from under the sun. Great place to base out of and enjoy the local lakes and hikes.
Quaint farm camping 🏕
Denver Downs was perfect for a one night stay. I arrived and was warmly welcomed by Catherine before I drove up to the top of the hill to claim my "site". Beautiful calming view and perfect for doggos.
Fall festival views from our window
Perfect last minute stop! We couldn’t find a last minute overnight on our way out of town and we were super happy to stumble upon this. We stayed during their fall festival and our kids were thrilled to be able to watch the festivities from their bedroom until it was time for us to join in. We felt safe, ran our generator (with permission) and enjoyed the whole field to ourselves. Thank you!
