Our 230+ acre family cow farm most of which was purchased 60 years ago by my father and mother. My two siblings and me were raised here and later bought joining land that now makes up the 230+acres. We all still live on the farm with our families. We all enjoy the peace and quiet that you will find here. Sounds of our cows, wildlife and the occasional rumble of a distant train is all you will hear on our farm. Our Hidden Creek is fun to hike to and cool your tired feet. Learn more about this land: Enjoy your privacy on our 40+ acres of farm and forest trails. 10 minutes from groceries and gas, 15 minutes from a small town. We are surrounded by farmland and forest. There are a few different attractions 5 - 10 minutes away (lake Robinson) it has a boat landing and plenty of fish, (Carolina Sandhills national wildlife refuge)it has plenty of hiking trails and roads perfect for bicycling, small mountain called (Sugarloaf Mountain)perfect for hiking. Local peach/strawberry farm (McLeod farm) with produce/gift shop/free museum/restaurant called (Big's), they have pick your own strawberries in the spring and early summer. In nearby Hartsville and Cheraw there are several golf courses and places for Kayak rentals. Neptune Island waterpark in Hartsville. We have a hidden Creek that is fun to hike to by way of a trail. Small pond for fishing, plenty of room for hiking and bike riding ( grassy, sandy, rolling hills). Beautiful hills to camp on and watch an unobstructed view of the Carolina sunset and sunrise that peak through wooded acreage. Choose a tent camp location or pull/drive your RV/camper right near our cow pasture and watch the cows graze. Fresh drinking water at campsites. Bathroom and sun heated shower. Pick wild blackberries in early summer and wild grapes in late summer early fall, and we may share some of our home made jellies with you. We welcome family groups year round. At night enjoy the sounds of wildlife while watching the highly visible twinkling stars and tracing the many constellations and if lucky see a shooting star or two.

Hidden Creek

I loved my stay at Hidden Creek campground! Melissa and her family are kind and thoughtful, and they provided all the amenities I needed, plus tips on local spots and friendly conversation. They have a beautiful piece of land, and I am glad to have been allowed to enjoy a bit of it. I will definitely keep Melissa's campsites in mind when I am traveling through again. Thank you!

Hidden Creek Farm

Thank you to the host.

Great quiet lil spot close to lake Robinson. Clean bathroom and shower house. Very friendly host. All and all definitely gonna go back. I would also like to thank the host for creating a really nice and unique experience. Done alot of hip camp sites and this place had one of the best bathrooms. The lake is only about a 5 min ride and about a 15 min ride to hartsville with its multitude of things to do.

Beautiful setting. Well kept sites. Both Melissa and Dennis were great host’s. We enjoyed our night very much.. We will stop back anytime we go thru area. Thanks for a great stay

Cute & comfortable camp ground!

Dennis took the time to introduce himself the evening we arrived & before we left. He was friendly & relaxed. Bathroom & shower are both nice & easily accessible. Located very close to Sandhills national wildlife refuge, where we spent the day. Would recommend to others and stay again. Thanks y’all!

I loved camping at Dennis and Melissa’s Hidden Creek campsite! My husband and I had an amazing time with our dog. The sites were great with working utilities and amenities. They even provided list of things to do and restaurants for the area. We cant wait to go back soon!

Hidden Creek Farm

I really enjoyed my stay on Melissa's land. As a metalworking artist, she has added such creativity to the property, and the amenities were so thoughtfully done. I am traveling longterm in a small camper, so I really appreciated the outdoor cooking area and especially the screened lounging room with a comfy sectional couch. The pond was lovely, with a walking trail around it and lots of little private places to sit and watch the sun go down. I also enjoyed talking with Melissa and Shane, who were hard at work making improvements. Thanks so much for the hospitality!
