We needed a last minute option due to bad weather where we were headed on 4th of July weekend, and were so relieved to find Hidden Creek Farm. Our host, Dennis, was so friendly and thoughtful! Nothing was overlooked, from the very well made A-frame bathroom and heated shower (with a cute sink made from a roasting pan) to the well laid out sites with solar and string lighting to guide you in the dark! I loved having running water close at hand. It seemed like every detail towards comfort and convenience was addressed. We got to see lots of wildlife in our short overnight stay too. Bunnies, a large turtle, and a very inquisitive black snake. We loved the peace and solitude of the area. Slept like babies and were able to get on the road quickly the next morning. Also, don’t pass up a visit to McCleod Farms a few miles away! They have an outstanding produce store and bakery!

Awesome camping spot. Very well done. Wife loved the shower. She said it was well thought out with lots of shelves and hooks in all the right places. My only regret is we didnt get to spend more time there! The host are awesome, kind and friendly with lots of recommendations if you need them.

Melissa’s land is beautiful and the campsites are well thought out. We loved that there was a picnic table, fire pit and grill at our site. The toilet and show houses are adorable and function as expected. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Second time at the site! Brought my daughter this time, and it was even more magical them the first time! Everything about the location makes you feel like your miles and miles away from civilization, but then the reality of knowing that if you forgot some thing it’s not that far away is the best! Definitely plan to keep coming back and exploring the area even more!

Where to begin? Hidden Creek was an incredible experience from start to finish. We met Dennis and Melissa upon arrival, and Dennis gave us a quick nighttime tour of the property. There were SO many thoughtful details like strung Christmas lights at each campsite, picnic table, fire ring with firewood stacked and ready to go, the tent site was a level pea gravel square so easy for setup without tree roots jabbing through! Dennis even hand crafted two little A-frame buildings, one for a toilet and one for a hot propane shower. There was a swing set and lawn games for kids. Dennis was the NICEST guy and shared so many stories about the drum factory he works in, the family who lives on all the surrounding land, he even shared some homemade cupcakes from his daughters bakery when we checked out! The property was beautiful during the day, we explored around, loved the pine forest and the cows were VERY entertaining! You can really feel the pride this family has taken in their property and how thoughtful they are to any lucky campers who get to stay here! I can't wait to go back!!

The hosts were quick in responding to our correspondence. Our mountain camping trip got washed out due to heavy rains and we were looking for alternative camp sites. We were booked and confirmed within the hour with Hidden Creek Farms. This private campsite is quiet, clean, beautiful and has shower and flush toilets. There are 2 well marked campsites and two ad hoc campsites. We booked 4 sites and got the entire place to our group. The hosts are super friendly and checked on our needs, even brought over homemade sauces and delicious jam. Highly recommended. There are fire pits, BBQ stand and table and chairs, even has a swing set onsite.
