Site 1 - The Grassy Knoll
Beautiful spot convenient to Congaree National Park. Very friendly hosts. The ground is gently sloping as described and is amenable to tent camping if needed. The pond was beautiful in the morning. Their dogs were extremely friendly but not bothersome at all. Perfect place for our trip to Congaree.

Great little pond surrounded around clearing by trees. Listen to the ducks and frogs day and night.

Site 1 - The Grassy Knoll
Dargan’s camping sites were great! Had a great view of the pond with the ducks and geese. It was a clean site with a fire pit, firewood, garbage can and an extremely clean compostible bathroom. I think it was a great value. I’d highly recommend as well!

Wonderful spacious layout. Well maintained pond. Great hosts. Appreciated they kept the dogs tied due to our little ones. Would definitely recommend for families!

We will come back to this place!
From the moment we arrived, Dargan and Ronnie welcomed us with genuine warmth, making us feel instantly at ease. Their hospitality was as sweet as the serene pond where we enjoyed fishing and were able to relax. We were thrilled to catch a variety of fish, including bream, adding an extra layer of excitement to our stay. Despite another site nearby, the atmosphere felt relatively secluded, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature. The short drive to Congaree National Park was convenient, and the campfire, firewood, hose, and compost toilet provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’re already looking forward to returning to this wonderful retreat!
