This is a pretty cool spot, very secluded so all you could was nature. Alex was very helpful as well. Thanks!

I loved this site it was so clean and you would never know other people had camped there. I have been to too many state parks and camping grounds that are so littered with trash it ruins the whole experience. We arrived at the site marked with little ribbons using the directions provided. Apply bug spray before arriving, the parking area is in tall grass. The creek has two settings loud and very loud which is good if you are someone who sleeps with a fan or white noise. Alex was a great host very quick to answer questions and visited with us. I would come back to this spot again if I find myself in the area.

Ugh I don't want anyone to know about this spot but we had the best time. You get what's shown and reviewed but better in person.

A terrific site: beautiful and quiet. There are just a handful of sites here (four total, I think), and they are spaced far apart, so you have a whole stretch of backcountry to yourself. I camped here to introduce my young son to camping. We stayed at one of the creek sites, and my son really enjoyed playing in the creek.

Alex was awesome—helpful, flexible, and kind. I told him my son loves farms, and he took us to see his cattle farm, and showed us a couple of the other campsites that weren’t being used during our stay.

We booked this last minute, literally withing 2 hoyrs of showing up. Alex was a great host, met us and offered us a private little spot in the forest on a creek no one had ever camped at before if we were willing to hike in a little. We jumped at the opportunity, and was not disappointed. Aside from some turkeys, we were completely alone in this beautiful forest. It was perfect. We'll be back

Could not say enough good things about this campsite. I'm actually hesitant to rave about it, because we want to keep it as our own camping secret! If you are looking for a complete break from hustle and bustle and wanting to be in a secluded area, this is your spot. We did not have cell service unless we hiked a little ways, but it was nice to not have the distraction. The creek was so lovely to sleep by! Our pup loved exploring and we felt safe letting her go off leash (property owner said this was okay). Beautiful piece of land; we can't wait to come back!

Creekside camping was fantastic! It doest get better than falling asleep to the sounds of a flowing river. The path along the river is well kept and there are several areas to make camp which is nice. We unknowingly set up in the main access area though and had to take down tent and move some of our setup when another group arrived and needed to get to their site. No biggie and now we know for next time :)
Our host Alex stopped by the first night to tell us about the property and recommended some things to do. We did visit the lake for some kayaking, which is beautiful. Its just a short 5 minute drive from camp. We had hoped to fish but were advised by some locals thar the game warden often comes by to check for licenses. Since none of has one, we decided not to chance it. The following day we explored a lovely trail recommended by Alex that was walking distance from our site. This land is rented by a local hunt club and as it was turkey season, we waited until late afternoon to stay on the safe side and not disturb the hunters .
Overall we had a wonderful experience and it was a perfect escape from quarantine. I will certainly be booking again! Thanks Alex!

This is the public access area where we put the kayaks in.Creekside CampIf it's been raining, you'll probably want 4 wheel drive. We definitely used ours!Creekside Camp

Alex’s site was just what we were hoping for! He was great at communicating from the get go and the site was as described. We were able to hear the stream throughout the night and the site was very private. I would definitely stay here again.
