This space is best for tent campers as there are no hookups or facilities. There is a great creek and plenty of space. There’s also a fire pit and lots of nature! It’s off the beaten path, but not too far. Restaurants and groceries within about 15 minutes. 10 minutes south of the NC state line. Depending on the timing, it’s a great spot for cycling!

This spot is perfect if you're looking for a place to rest, relax, and retreat. Miles from anything (including cell service), the Quiet Mountain Retreat was a quaint little camping field with a small creek nearby. It is pretty close to the road, but other than some barking puppers and one motorcycle, the spot was quiet and peaceful. I left the gate to the property open and still felt quite safe through the night. I also discovered my new favorite place in all the world (if you don't know Poinsette Bridge...you should). Vicy was a great host. We corresponded several times before check-in and she provided some good water. All-in-all, a fantastic place to stay if you're low maintenance!
