Perfect getaway spot! Tree covered, just by the "creek", tons of privacy. So peaceful. James has put a lot of thought and work into creating this camping experience.
We enjoyed our stay. The area is secluded and very quiet. We had firewood delivered before we arrived and purchased electricity when we arrived. Other sites were quiet and the whole area was clean and litter free.
A relaxing site, surrounded by trees, on thr "big creek" with plenty of space between neighbors. This campground is a work in progress, but most definitely a labor of love. We hope to be back soon.
Great location quite clean well maintained.
Stayed not far from creek where fishing was available.
Great place
A very beautiful campground!
Very affordable and well run.
Very handy water access on a beautiful calm river perfect for kayaking!

James has big plans for his little piece of paradise but we love it just the way it is! The quiet is amazing - rarely can you camp anywhere and hear no man-made noise. Here you can! The sites are clean and well marked and you can launch a boat at the end of the road. The creek is pretty and the peace is amazing here! This is a great stopping place for us as we travel north and south and we will be back!

Wow, I'm glad you enjoyed your site. Repeat customers are always great. Curently I'm building a single stall restroom. 5 gallons of mix and a gallon of bar lube for my chainsaw along with some beetle kill pine trees, reclaimed lumber and the restroom will be like no other I've ever seen.
The quiet and solitude was exceptional. There is a very good Verizon cell signal here, as there is a tower located nearby. There is a creek that is good for kayaking. We caught campground entrance and exit to require some skilled backing maneuvers with our 24ft pull behind and 22ft long F350 crew cab longbed truck. A cul-de-sac turnaround is being constructed to facilitate better back-in angles. It might be possible to use a 30ft camper behind a short bed truck, but my opinion is that 24 or 25ft is for now the maximun doable length. A normal sized 5th wheel will not work right now.
The owner is kind, enthusiastic, and easy to deal with.
We came for 3 days and added 2 more weeks.

James is so nice and helpful! Beautiful property! I wouldnt pull a camper any bigger than 25 ft due to the angle of the backing into the campsite. But it's worth the effort! We extended our stay we enjoyed it so much!

Thanks for the tips, pictures and recommendations. Happy Camping.
Nice tranquil spots with leveled out areas to put your tents and lots of room to spread out, with gravel you can pull up your car and park on. Fire pit and some sites even had cute little picnic tables. It was right by the water as pictured and was a nice stay even though we got there late at night. There were no other campers and it was very private. Host was very nice and offered firewood. Would definitely recommend and will camp here again.

Thanks, John for your review. Try it again one day now that you see what's available. More things to come. Cabins, unique structures... For now, my time is going towards more power, water, and sewer.
