Nearby we are also close to many iconic Adelaide Hills wineries, & there are wonderful walking & bike tracks (inc the Amy Gillett) and beautiful drives.
Our farm was also completely burnt with the Dec 19 bushfires, so an opportunity here to see nature's amazing recovery first hand. Please note there are open/unfenced dams in most of our paddocks so may not be suitable for those with young children. Also there is no access to power or water, and hipcampers must have self contained facilities inc toilets on board, per council requirements.
Location is very peaceful, but we are however a 'working' farm so there may be the occasional farm/tractor noise in the background but we try to minimise where possible when visitors around. Also to keep this operation small and just a hobby, bookings are restricted to only 20 per year and ideally suited to one family group or 4 adults max. Unfortunately pets are not allowed at this point in time.
We ask all campers to leave no trace, and a special request for no balls or litter be left in any paddock to protect both our livestock, and the environment.
Any inquiries on this, or anything else, please ask! Also if just looking for a short stay/no-frills/overnight rate (ie arriving after 5.30pm and leaving before 9am) please let us know as we can put through for $15, subject to availability, just inside our front gate entrance, but still off road and secure.

Exactly as described and exactly what we wanted. Great hosts even though we only met Peter Karen was in regular contact and very helpful.
My young family of 5 absolutely loved our stay on Karen’s property. We tented in an empty paddock and the kids enjoyed exploring the empty paddocks nearby and seeing the cows and horses. Karen was very accomodating and thoughtful providing a beautiful camping location shaded from the morning and evening sun and even brought a horse over for the kids to feed (the highlight of their trip). Karen made us feel very welcome.
I would highly recommend this experience.

Great spot . Very friendly host !
We absolutely loved our stay on Karen’s property. Only staying one night for my girlfriends 25th, I was amazed with our campsite options upon arrival and the amount of care shown towards making the event special. Our site was well maintained and opened towards a lovely landscape.
Our stay was during a rainy period and a small leak in the tent let to our blanket being soaked. Through her kindness and generosity, Karen lent us some blankets so we didn’t have to sleep under a drenched blanket. Karen and Peter’s hospitality and kindness were definitely appreciated and we’re certainly looking forward to our next visit!
The property was beautiful, with so much space to roam around and explore. The host Karen was so kind and gave us plenty of space and privacy so we could have a relaxing stay.
The bird life was so diverse we loved just listening to all their calls. The horses we so friendly too, we gave them some nice headrubs
You cannot go wrong staying here.
Cracking spot. Host is just lovely.
Had a wonderful farm experience staying at Karen and Peter's beautiful property. Such great hosts' made us feel very welcome and made sure we had a great stay. So much fun was had by the kids exploring the paddocks, talking to the cows and horses and they even had the opportunity to brush and feed one of them Karen gave us lots of local tips which was much appreciate. Thank you again for a wonderful family getaway ❤
Such a great spot, Karen was so lovely and helpful our whole stay and it was great learning a little about the farm and seeing lots of baby calves! So close to lots of things to see and explore the area. The way to get into the site through a series of gates was a bit tight with the van, but was totally fine for us and Karen let us go the long way through to paddocks to get out to make it easier :)

The hosts were down to earth and very welcoming. My son was able to join them with feeding the animals and absolutely loved it. It was a very peaceful and stress free stay. Would definitely stay again 👍
