A lovey place with valley views as we are quite elevated, hills to roam and animals to feed and pat. Access suit vehicles that have that bit extra ground clearance and fantastic for kids to explore the hills and rocks. Suited more for camper trailers, tents or swags, caravans have made it too. Very quiet, peaceful
Great level sites set a long way apart from each other (hundreds of metres) so even if there are other campers you well and truly get your own space. Had more than ample firewood for the night and the owner's very cute dog settled in with us very comfortably. Pretty countryside and easy drive from Tarlee town. Even the drop-pit toilet is one of the cleanest I have seen.
Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and would highly recommend to anyone.
A tranquil, relaxing camp site.
This was a beautiful camp site. Having the fire pit was very handy because it rained the second night of our stay and so we could bring the fire closer to our van. The bird life was beautiful to wake up to, such a tranquil, relaxing place to stay. The dog Kellie topped of our stay with her company. Russell and Alison were very welcoming. They are lovely hosts. We are already planning our return.
Very welcoming host, property was fantastic, free firewood was a great touch. Would certainly recommend this camp for anyone who enjoys bush camping.
Thank you, will definitely be back.
Cheers Janet and Eric.
Lovely spot! Nice countryside Felt secluded while still being close to Adelaide. Camp sites are quite spread out. Owners were really nice and laid back!
Will definitely be back! Thank you!
Beautiful and peaceful campsite which was only an hour from the North East of the City.
We were lucky to have the space to ourselves for a couple of the nights we stayed so the kids explored to their hearts content.
Plenty of space for camping and being away from others with a clean & not smelly long drop. Plenty of firewood so we made the most of our camp oven.
You are even welcomed by the gorgeous Kellie the Kelpie who got along with our elderly dogs.
Definitely can't wait to stay again.
We had a wonderful time at Rocky Outlook. It was busy being that it was a long weekend but campers were well spread out so there was very minimal sounds day or night. A beautiful spot and wonderful hosts.
