Choose from sites by the forest, in the scrub or next to the dam, all with uninterrupted sunlight for off-grid setups. We intend to build up the amenities as we go but to start, it’s just the land and the location; just over the road from a section of the Heysen Trail passing through the forest next door. A great place to take long walks and where many ride their horses.
Bring your fishing gear to try your luck in our dam – Lake Grace. Named in honour of Kathleen Grace – Kath, Mum, Gran & Great Gran.
Please bring your own toilet facilities and take your rubbish/waste with you when you leave.

We were tent camping at site 1 / 2, had an amazing time. Went during June, weather held out and had a roaring fire the whole time. Darren was extremely friendly and accommodating. Waking up to the sounds of frogs ducks and cows off in the distance 5/5
Really appreciated Darren meeting us at the gate and showing us to camp. Lovely property. Great camping

Darren was really good at communicating and the site was just what we were craving........nothing!
I contacted Darren a few days prior to booking to ask if we could bring our dog and he made a one off adjustment for us. He made another feild available for just us so that we didn't bother anyone.
We had a fire going all weekend by clearing some of the deadwood off the side of the road and also purchased a couple of bags from Darren which really helped get it going.
He's started giving each site a personal BBQ, there was a communal portaloo but we were in our self contained van so didn't use it.
Note: This is a working farm so don't be a Debby downer and start complaining about cow pats in the feild.
The Forrest is literally across the road for long walk among the trees.
We'll be back again for sure 👍
Great spot, lovely peaceful setting. Entrance to Kuitpo across the road. Darren was really friendly and helpful. He lit a great bonfire which the teenagers really appreciated. They have put a pota potties in a tent, which saved us having to set ours up, and he had table and chairs too. Our first hip camp and after a great experience will do again
Beautiful setting right across rd from Kuitpo forest and Heysen trail. Evelyn was quick to respond to my questions and Darren was so friendly and helpful, bringing us an amazing fire pit with grill for cooking, and inviting the grandkids to watch him feed the cattle. Always a friendly wave as he passed. Plenty of space so no close neighbors. My son-in-law wished he'd brought his fishing rod to catch redfin in the lake...... next time.

A very well appointed campground with a loo, fresh water, bbqs and wood available. Easy to find and a pleasant vista. Darren was delightful and attentive. Once setup we took a walk into Kuipto Forest along the Heysen Trail. Very convenient, and a pleasant stay. Will definitely be back

A good range of camp sites, suiting both tent camping and caravans/campers. Close to local walks and very peaceful. Certainly going back again as there is not a great deal of campsites around this area of the hills.
Truly off grid camp, Darren very welcoming. Loads of space, just watch out for the cow pats! Couldn't be closer for Onkeeta Trail through Kuitpo Forest.

Service was exceptional from Darren, the host. We arrived very late in the night and he still met us at the gate with a big smile on the face. Darren showed us to our campsite and made sure we’ve settled in before he leave even though it was very late. Campsite very clean with great views to the lake and cows farm from afar. Will definitely be back next time.
