A 360 acre sheep farm with beautiful old gumtrees, natural springs, several dams, plenty of wildlife and an old quarry with stunning views over the valley. We are situated between Eden Valley and Springton, about a 20 minute drive to the Barossa Valley towns Tanunda and Angaston but also close to the Adelaide Hills.

We are a working farm so the campsites vary depending on where the sheep are grazing but the approximately 20 acres around the quarry are not grazed as we are revegetating the area and would constantly be available.

Our property is a very secluded and tranquil place, with mainly sheep as your neighbours and endless stars to watch at night.Property is dog friendly for friendly dogs that are well controlled. No amenities so you'll need to have everything you need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted depending on the season - talk to us first.

What a beautiful peaceful setting with 360 degree views. Silke was very welcoming & a wonderful host & she directed us to a fantastic spot on top of the hill. Oh the serenity!

Thank you Silke! We would love to come back.

An amazing place to stay, quiet, serene, peaceful and plenty of stargazing. Your only Neighbours are sheep and their babies and Silke’s beautiful doggos. There are plenty of places to choose from for camping and you can be as close to the main house or as far away as you like. Silke’s dogs are her sheep’s protectors so remember they will be out and about, whilst they may bark at you they are friendly and just doing their jobs as protectors. If this bothers you then this may not be the place for you, it is a working farm.
Whilst there are lots of flat places to camp there are some small hills in places to get there. We have a 4wd and 3t caravan, we had no problem driving up the slopes, the ground was dry.
Whilst you can have campfires here we went in danger season so we’re unable to, this falls under Metropolitan area for the purposes of camp fires.
Silke is a very friendly host who is super accommodating and tries to make you feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and we were so surprised and deeply grateful for the little surprise and gift she gave us for our anniversary. Thank you.
Silke is very knowledgeable about the area and more than happy to share with you details / information.
Ask her for her lunch / dinner recommendations if you feel like exploring the area, she has local knowledge and told us about a beautiful winery that had gardens and wood fired pizza (Grand Cru), it was perfect for our anniversary lunch.

Silke is making plans for the future of us campers and there will be fire pits and extras insitu.

Give this place a go if some of the above info appeals to you, please please remember this is a working farm and somebody lives here, it is not a holiday resort. If you are self sufficient, able to remove all your rubbish and leave the place as you found it, then yes you will love it here.
Peace, serenity, wind down, Mother Nature, walks, it’s all here.
