Located on the mighty Murray River, this campsite has a cleared flat fruit block with 200 metres of exclusive Murray River frontage and limited shade. Murray River National Park is divided into six separate areas and our region features two: the Lyrup Flats, 2,000 hectares along the floodplain on the northern side of the river. It provides wonderful opportunities for birdwatching and fishing. The Lock 4 and Eckert Creek area is a significant waterway that flows through the National Park and provides great canoe adventuring. Pelicans and other water birds, possums and kangaroos are common sights.
You will need to be self contained with own water supply and camping toilet/shower amenities. Pets on leashes are welcome. Campfires are permitted when a fireban is not in place. This campsite offers a good fishing spot for native fish. There are many fantastic places to visit nearby including the Riverland Wine Centre, 3 km to the National Parks, 5 km to canoes & boat hire facilities and 4km to the township of Berri for all your supplies.

The views were amazing, it was so relaxing and felt really private even though you’re on the hosts property where they live. Michelle was welcoming and willing to assist with anything we needed and make recommendations but left us alone after introductions.
Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning was relaxing and the small flock of ducks that belong to the land owner visited a few times a day which was lovely.
We had our two dogs with us that loved exploring the property and were free to roam as long as they didn’t intrude in the host family’s immediate surrounds.
We had a great few days and will likely visit again sometime.

We had a lovely peaceful weekend camping right on the river bank. Easy to find and our camper trailer was able to be set up on the lower level. Generous pile of wood gave us lovely fires to keep warm by. Enjoyed the team of ducks that visited each morning.
It’s a great spot, perfect for SUP. Unlike public camp sites (where people could mess with your gear) we felt comfortable setting up camp fully, and then driving off to explore Berri and Renmark. Lots of trails and good places to eat out in easy driving distance. We had two 4x4 and plenty of space to spread out around the fire.

We loved it. Huge camp area. Very close to the river, with a tent could have easily camped on the river bank. Close enough to town, but far enough away that you have little light pollution and noise. Michelle was a great host.

Great spot for larger groups, plenty of room, peaceful . Directions very clear . Host very welcoming even organised our wood for campfire. Thanks so much for an enjoyable weekend away.
Nice spot by the river, split over two levels. If you have a caravan you would stay on the upper part and we had plenty of space for the roof top tent on the lower part. Nice and secure with no worries of having to lock everything away before you explore the Riverland! If you have a ski boat you would need to use boat ramp about 2km away and could leave in water overnight if not too windy. Host is lovely and accommodating! Little bit of traffic noise but you feel miles away!
Right on river front opposite Berri. Level dirt site in full Sun for the caravan, but able to get good shade by the river and fire pit. Fire wood able to be delivered (at a cost) by the lovely Michelle,

Great spot for fishing and easy access to river for kayaks and swimming. Lovely river and sunset views from the bank. Private and secluded and close enough to town to kayak
In for a coffee

Lovely spot very private. Michelle is very nice and helpful. Beautiful views close to Berri
